We were at this restaurant for a recent wedding. I think there were about 80 people. It is a great spot. The food was realy good, certainly best food I have ever had at a wedding. It is well known apparently in Donegal. Really enjoyed the ambience of the front reception and bar on arrival. A great night followed. They... More

A group of five enjoyed an excellent meal at Danny Minnies. We were well received, served drinks, perused the menu, and orders taken in a friendly and unrushed manner. A relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. Table service was first class. All in all a lovely meal and night out. A real treat.

We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed the sense of theatre, lovely food and service. However we were taken there by some American friends a few nights ago (they had stayed there before) and the food was very disappointing. Four of us ordered fillet steak - two with the additional 'surf' option, which was probably the most expensive... More

I recently spent 3 nights in the Chúirt hotel in Gweedore. We decided to eat in Danny Minnie's on one night as it had been highly recommended to us. From start to finish , it was a wonderful dining experience. We were brought in to peruse the menu while we had a drink. Our orders were taken and we were... More

I was really looking forward to our visit to Danny Minnie's. We had heard great things and read the reviews so we had great expectations. On arrival we were impressed by the ambience and the service. Had a drink in a lovely homely sitting area while we read our menus. Our table was booked for nine and we were a... More

I had the 40 euro set menu and it was fantastic! I am a huge foodie, and thought it was great value, and if I ever go back I will definitely eat here again!

This place is a bit of a pilgrimage for us every year. Your arrive in and are seated with menus and drinks before going to your table. The food and atmosphere is outstanding. It's worth visiting the owners at the local market every Saturday too.

I've been to Danny Minnie's on numerous occasions since 2005 and I am never anything less than thrilled with the whole experience. On this occasion, we decided to go for the first time with our children, aged 3 and 4, plus my parents for Easter Sunday. This was a massive decision as a family as we've always seen it as... More

I had the fantastic opportunity to attend a wedding in Annagry recently. Took the flight from Dublin to Donegal airport. All very pleasant and we were in Donegal in no time. The airport to Danny Minnies is less than a 5 minute drive.Stayed in the Danny Minnie B and B . What a place. Very homely, sophisticated, warm and 5... More
