Like drinking a bar of chocolate

My partner loved this place and i have to admit the hot chocolate was pretty good. I tried a coffee second time i visited and it was good but not amazing. No doubt i will be back when im in cork next.

O Conaills hot chocolate has to be the best hot chocolate I ever had! But unfortunately some of the staff aren't very friendly and kind of turned me off going back there. I was greeted by a staff member with a sour head and who hadn't great manners. I asked if I could order and when I ordered I asked... More

Nice indoor seating area, and friendly staff. Decent coffee, not remarkable though. I would like to see them try some new blends, with chocolate notes. The chocolate itself was very nice, and the carrot cake is recommended. I'm looking forward to going back again.

Never disappoints, staff are lovely and friendly-even when they are really busy. I always ask for mine extra hot because my drink was slightly cold on my first visit but since then it has been just right. Large milk and white is my favourite . Defiantly worth a visit if ever in cork!

I love hot chocolate. I've had bad hot chocolate (yes, it exists...), good hot chocolate, even great hot chocolate. But I have never had anything that even comes close to this. Rich. Creamy. Chocolatey. Just the right level of sweetness. It made my mouth do a happy little dance!

We have visited their little shop on Princes Street twice now and it's wonderful. I didn't know they had a bigger shop. They don't advertise themselves really well and their website is "coming soon" since 2014. I didn't realise it was O'Connail's, the sign just says OCO over the door. Despite that, we discovered this gem on our first visit... More

Unreal quality chocolate, love the buttons you get on the side or can buy. Very sweet so i usually get a hot chocolate that's half milk half dark.

Tried a chilly hot chocolate drink and it as enjoyable. I should have stuck to the normal one and let the chocolate speak for itself without the spices but it was ok. Service was swift and we sat outside watching people go by. All in all it was ok.

Used to be the best hot chocolate in town but I have been left so disappointed with my last couple of visits. The hot chocolate was just like warm milk no hint of any chocolate. On one occasion when I got a takeaway hot chocolate they actually did forget to add the chocolate and I got back to the car... More

I love the hot choc but today it was more hot milk then chocolate. I've noticed it before but hoped it was just a bad day. The stall in Mahon market on a Thursday is miles better. Still pretty good hot choc but maybe not the best any more. I'll keep going in hopes of improvement
