Beautiful food at this restaurant. We were a party of five and each starter and main course was as good as the other. I would strongly recommend going to this restaurant. It is also quite reasonable, for 4 starters (big bowls of steamed mussels), 5 main courses (including steak and lamb) and 2 bottles of beautiful French wine we received... More

I've always loved Jacques since I first went there 10 years ago. Their dining area was always a bit cramped though. But now they've expanded considerably and also have a fantastic lunch and afternoon menu which is almost better !

We just dopped in here early on way for night out as it has now been linked to oliver plunkett st now. The food was excellent. The staff are nice, friendly and easy going. I have eaten here before in old days and always came away happy with my meal and again was happy this time.

This restaurant was very busy but well worth the wait. There were a lot of good things to choose from on the menu. I went with a lamb and it was delicious!

The food is excellent, it really is. Yes, it is pricey but it is very good value. Where else would you get a beautifully cooked half lobster for €18? I would recommend this restaurant for the food but I wouldn't go back because of the staff and the room. The staff are too causal and not very well trained. They... More

We weren't able to get a table in the restaurant so settled in the tapas area and were delighted with the food and wines. Each plate was delicious! We shared a fish tasting plate.. Smoked salmon and crab plates and very tasty potatoes !

Good to see a new Tapas place in Cork but sadly the is uninspiring. Found it hard to chose anything & when we did we were not impressed. Dessert prices are crazy. Wine list good, service excellent. Hope they improve the menu though ASAP
