Great chef

Beautiful food. Excellent service. Cozy atmosphere. Ideal for couples and friends. I came twice with friends for midweek diner. All I ate was delicious. Last time around I got the spiced beef croquettes and the fish of the day, that monkfish was fantastic. Would give 5 stars if not for being a bit... read more

I wish I could have a Fenn's Quay in every city where we travel! Delicious food with a highly knowledgable staff. The menu is coded for food allergies and they will happily accommodate. We had multiple food allergies for more than one person, and Fenns was able to handle it all. We were able to enjoy their delicious food without... More

Not knowing cork, we passed this restaurant and called in on spec. Fantastic food. Seafood platter starter was a dream of fish flavours. Accompanying bread was excellent and replenished wtuickly. A range of mains ...my excellent chicken with fantastic gubernatorial mash, Aubergine veg option was loved, feathered beef apparently perfect as was the fish special on the day. We'll sourced... I was very much looking forward to going back to this restaurant, after having a great first experience. As a group we opted for the early bird menu which I noticed had not changed since last year. I got the starter of colcannon, with poached egg and black pudding. To look at it wasn't great as it was a pile... More

We had a very nice lunch here. The owner is very particular about the ingredients and their source. It's a smallish place, very home-y and comforting. Food was very good. Alas service was a tad slow (they were apologetic) but we were happy with our meal overall.

Very tasty food. Staff accommodated a, last minute, late booking and continued to offer great non-rushed service thereafter. Very tasty food. Food portions not massive but I was starving so had ordered starter/main+side dish - this hit the spot. Menu seemed good - and the specials included 2 fish dishes. Good atmosphere in a great location. Will return again.

We came here with my wife around 1 pm on Saturday and we ordered the west cork and eggs Benedict. The west cork was with smoked gubeen cheese, black pudding and confit oignons. It was so good! And the bread was fresh. It was only 6 euros for the dish for a big size. And same for egg benedicts. I... More

Returned to Fenn's Quay after 3 years and was just as happy as the last time. Most of the dishes are a little different from the usual. Excellent service, well priced for the standard of food.

This is a fabulous little restaurant in the heart of Cork but a little off the beaten track. Excellent cooking and use of local ingredients. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the food & there are some very interesting dishes served.

A couple coworkers treated me to dinner here in January. A cozy place, though not sure how big it may be. Food was rather good, though I only had a starter and some wine. The only ding was that our server wasn't very pleasant. While we had originally booked for 6, we ended up with just 2 to start and... More
