Nice food, ok service

A couple coworkers treated me to dinner here in January. A cozy place, though not sure how big it may be. Food was rather good, though I only had a starter and some wine. The only ding was that our server wasn't very pleasant. While we had originally booked for 6, we ended up with just 2 to start... read more

I made a reservation here on the basis of a review I read and because it was convenient to my hotel. I was keen to impress my dinner companion and opted for Fenn's Quay above the four star hotel dining option. To my disappointment this place was certainly very pokey and cramped. We were seated at a table more suited... More

Lovely restaurant in a great location. I've been going here since it opened and have never been disappointed. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The early dinner special includes a starter, main and dessert for 24 euro. This is excellent value for such delicious food, the feather blade of beef is to die for!

We got a table here at the last minute and we didn't realise how lucky we were to be. The resturant is small but the food is delicious. Fresh, tasty and plenty of of it. The mashed potatoe was a delight. The staff were charming and fun. Fine dining at a great price.

The food and service is excellent and the staff are always interested in receiving feedback on their menu. It's a charming spot and they deserve the high praise they have received.

I was curious to eat here as I've heard great things (which obviously can bias). Had a dinner with my brother and we were underwhelmed. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. My fillet steak was very tasty but medium well rather than the rare I ordered, the chips were soggy and the side salad was mean... More

A relaxed but also very competent restaurant. The service was most professional and the range and quality of the food excellent. Enough space to have a conversation without hearing your neighbours or having their elbows in your food.

Possibly one of the best brunch experiences I have ever had. Met with a smiling staff member in a restaurant drowned in the scent of brunch and lilies. As we sat we were informed by Maria, A Kerry export locally sourced, that it was the blessing of the lilies day in the church across the road, Locals always a good... More

Had a lovely dinner here as a solo traveler. The wait staff made me feel welcome and didn't rush me in any way. The spiced walnuts were a simple starter-- there is an unexpected curry in the spice mix. I had the cod-- really delicious. This is a little spot easily overlooked but worth a visit.

This was our third attempt to find a place to eat that had vegetarian options on a Wednesday night. Cafe Paradiso, although nearly empty at 7:30, indicated that they would not have a table available for 45 minutes (if a rush was about to commence, there's no way a table would then be available in 45 minutes!). They sent us... More
