Had a lovely meal here with my husband last weekend. We both had beef croquets for starter. The options for the starters were limited but these were lovely. Lovely seasoning in the filling and a good portion. For mains we had the feather blade of beef which was delicious and the baked hake which was also delicious. You do have... More

This is a lovely quaint restaurant, we had the 2 Mains Seafood Platter as a starter between 5 and fish, bacon, filet steak for mains. All of us had a beautiful meal and really enjoyed it.. I would come back again.... I had the filet and when I saw it first I thought Oh No small portion - but it... More

We visited on the recommendation of friends and were not disappointed. The food was all high quality and very imaginative. Service was excellent too. We had the cauliflower samosas which were beautifully crisp and very tasty followed by the fish special - hake on a bed of little white beans in a creamy sauce - quite delicious. Finally the gin... We ate an early bird meal in Fenn's Quay Restaurant last Saturday. It is a a little gem - warm and cosy and with the friendliest of staff. The food helpings were generous and quite innovative. Lots of local produce served with imagination.

This restaurant is a little gem away from the main streets. From the outside you may pass it by but enter and you will not be let down by the quality of food. The two waitresses were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have ceoliac which sometimes is a problem but they were so helpful... More

A party of 5 went on Saturday night. For overall value and service it would be hard to beat. Our Waiter was proffessional and pleasant which is a combination not often found these days. Our starters were first class especially the salmon. The mains were polished off with relish. The Shank , haddock and vegitarion options were all first class.... More

We were a group of six who had a delightful evening dining experience at Fenn's Quay. We were greeted , seated and had menus and pre dinner drinks served in minutes. Great start ! The menu is not extensive ( which is a relief) but what is on offer is fresh, seasonal ,and with an interesting twist - Modern Irish... More

This was the best meal we had in the course of a short trip to Cork and the surrounding countryside. We were staying near the University College, and were planning to eat in the city centre, but we looked in here on the way, and decided to go no further - the menu was attractive and imaginative. The food and... More

Had dinner in fenns Quay restaurant last evening. It was just ok. I never dined there before but heard it was good. Seating very uncomfortable. Too near front door. Place could do with a bit of paint. Jaded looking. We had one starter of spring rolls which was very expensive. 3 mains of beef hake and a fish platter. The... More

Came here after being referred by three restaurants that were full or reserved. It was fantastic. Must be just that it is a block off of the main street. Friendly waiter, really nice food and drink - their dark bread was a meal by itself.
