Popped in for lunch. A lovely restaurant with Excellent food and the waiter was not only very good at his job, but gave me lists of places to visit, other restaurants for lunch or dinner, bars with live music and items to buy in the English Market. Definitely above and beyond the normal service.

Main course of lamb (a chop) with "black pudding burger" was dry and overcooked, and the burger was far more burger-meat than black pudding, and it was accompanied by two entirely unannounced, puzzling and unappetising halves of what seemed like a scone, hard enough to have been baked in the oven and completely out of place. I think the menu... More

This funky little restaurant is praised in a number of guide books. More importantly, it delivers creative and harmonious food, sourced from local ingredients, with flair and value. While the art work on the walls is not to our taste, the heavy concentration of convivial locals and a congenial wait staff corroborate a well earned self confidence..A thoughtful range of... More

I'm a student in UCC and consider dinner in Fenn's quay a treat. Absolutely amazing food. Their brown bread is TO DIE FOR. Fantastic service, can't compliment it enough

So my girlfriend surprised me with dinner for our 5th anniversary. You can imagine I was not expecting fine dinning especially since I was only in a hoodie and jeans and the initial impression of the restaurants undermines the delicious dinner that follows. The atmosphere was fantastic for a date night with low lightening and candles. The waiting staff at... More

I recently had an opportunity to host a dinner at Fenns Quay in Cork and absolutely loved it! The food was prepared with fresh ingredients, staff was extremely friendly and prices were reasonable. There were 20+ people attending and everyone commented on how wonderful the food was! I had the fish platter and loved it! Great desert choices to wrap... More

I went for the brunch this afternoon and had the buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and streak bacon and a nice, hot pot of tea. It was delicious and the perfect brunch on a sunny Saturday.

Whenever we are in Cork, we eat at Fenn's Quay at least once during our week-end breaks. The quality of the ingredients is second to none, and are sourced locally. Contrary to one reviewer's remarks here, I have never seen blueberries on the menu to be served with the pancakes. It is always strawberries.... The staff are friendly, welcoming, and... More

We went to Fenns Quay after an absence of some months and were on the whole disappointed. It lacked the flair that it had in previous years and the menu was disappointing. A mixed fish platter at over 14 euro starter did not not enthuse. The main of lamb was good and well cooked but cod at over 23 euro... More
