Waitstaff was Very knowledgable about gf and menu, menu indicates gf as well. I had homade hot gf bread for starters then ended with flour less choc pudding cake. The chicken and rustic potatoes in between were marvelous. Hubby usually does not eat fish, but chef prepared him battered cod and he LOVED it. Very quiet laid back, or dress... More

One of the benefits of this restaurant, is that you do get a complimentary refill. In the current economic climate, this is welcome. Some of staff (mainly the females) are very friendly, but there is one male in particular who is so unfriendly as to turn one off coming to the place!!

Took a chance and headed for town without a reservation or plan last Saturday night. After parking up close to Shears Street we walked into the first restaurant that you pass...Fenn's Quay. In one of the lodes streets in Cork City they serve up local produce with a big emphasis on fish. Everything was very good and when my wife... More

Very pleasant atmosphere, very tasty food with real thought and effort put into presentation. Menu and even the receipts have Cork wit. Friendly helpful staff, well paced service and generous portions make this a place you will want to visit again.

Fenn's Quay is a small restaurant centrally situated in Cork City in a quiet backstreet. The produce is locally sourced, and the fish is outstandingly good. I had hake with leek and celeriac risotto, and it was one of the best fish dishes I've had anywhere. The service was good, and the ambience very pleasant. I can't wait to go... More

Ate here recently with by boyfriend and was really impressed. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and the service was top-notch throughout the meal. We opted for the early bird menu which offers a lot of choice and is very good value. To start I had the Beetroot and cork dry gin smoked salmon to start which was delicious and... More

I was disappointed with the restaurant, it has gone down hill since the last time I was there which was many years ago. Our table was very wobbly so we asked the waiter to fix the problem, we were also seated right next to the door on a cold night when there were plenty of other tables to choose from.... More

What can I say? Really fresh delicious seafood platter, with whatever was fresh from the English Market that morning, I had crab (mmmm it was so nice), cod & swordfish, oh and smoked salmon-all delicious & perfectly cooked. The chips were really amazing & they had loads of gluten free options-I think I could have had 4 desserts, which is... More
