Great atmosphere, good quality food for a great price (3 courses for €20 and you can substitute the 3rd for a wine or beer)... BUT.... the service is shocking at times. The waitresses don't make eye contact, smile, etc. They simply dump the food in front of you without looking and rush away - usually to get you the cutlery... More

Fantastic food and service and all for €20 for a 3 course, over a bank holiday weekend. Top marks all round it deserves its No. 1 position.

Three courses for 20 Euro represents very good value, but given the rave reviews on Trip Advisor (and the #1 ranking) I was expecting the food to be of a much better quality (and more expensive). The food is nice enough, but of a fairly basic standard - of the 'home cooking' variety rather than a nice restaurant. I guess... More

Ate here last Sunday. Had been dying to try here for ages because of all the great reviews I'd read about it on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. Got the €20 3 course menu, absolutely excellent value. Food was out of this world. Atmosphere was very relaxed, and the 2 waitresses that served us could not have been nicer.... More

Chose this restaurant due to the very positive reviews - but would have to say on the basis of our experience it is a little overblown and not sure it deserves the number 1 slot on Tripadvisor in Cork. First time I have felt slightly misled. The service was excellent - food came promptly and we were helped to move... More

I had the fishcake and the sirloin steak and they were absolutely delicious. However I was expecting better service and a better looking venue.

You just can't beat the value and fantastic variety. Got talking to the staff turns out they keep costs down by having the owner/chef and two front of house staff one of which is the owners wife as the full compliment. Really great value and fine food. Great buzz and friendly staff. Well worth a gamble.

Went with a large group, booked at the last minute on a sat and were so lucky to get a cancellation. Thought we couldnt possible get 3 course meal in Ireland for 20euro and all wine under 20euro,there had to be a catch! But there wasnt - food was delicious, fresh tasty, the service excellent and ambience lovely. Great selection... More

Was alone for the evening, but wanted a nice place. This was number 1 on Tripadvisor for Cork and it was absolutely great. The owner and Yana, the wonderful waitress, made you feel at home the moment you walked in and it was definitely Value for Money! Go there, if you can Got the 20 EU menu + a glass... More
