A Little Gem

Brilliant little restaurant down a pedestrianised street. Loadsa choice on the menu to suit all tastes; steaks, chicken, salads etc.. enjoyed a lovely meal here recently. Had ribeye steak and lamb shank at our table and both were excellent. Staff are attentive and efficient but happy to engage in a bit of banter too even though restaurant was very busy when we were there. Would definitely go back. Would recommend booking ahead. Best value we came across yet.

Been there numerous times, always great value for food but staff need to learn a bit of manners..felt like they were being very rude by picking up our plates once we put down our forks, possibly too attentive.

Sadly this resturaunt has gone downhill. In the past there was a good value Sunday 3 course lunch for around 13-14 euros which to be fair was good for what you are paying. This has changed in the last few months to now being a very average 2 courses for 15 Euros. The food we had this particular Sunday was... More

We had a lovely family meal here. Really helpful waiting staff. Pan fried chicken was tasty and accompanied by tasty mash, stuffing, potato gratin, French beans and gravy. A very satisfying meal. Chicken Fajitas had plenty of chicken, which proved too much for two of the kids. Waitress volunteered to wrap it in tin foil to take away. Very welcome.... More

Was in for Sunday lunch having had a few pleasant experiences here before . I had steak as a main which was like rubber . Staff who happened to be foreign were ignorant . An elderly man at a table next to me had a similarly poor quality steak and his feedback was ignored . I will not be returning.

I went there at lunchtime and I went for the two courses for 14.95. I had lamb shank with mashed potatoe and vegetables with pototoe gratin. The lamb shank was so tender and a lovely sauce to accompany this. I was given more vegetables which were very welcoming. I asked for a scoop of icecream with the baileys cheesecake there... More

A nice little Gem, happy to have found this spot. Very reasonable and great food! Had the steak which was cooked perfectly, all our desserts were gorgeous too. Staff were welcoming, friendly and always on hand.

There was a comprehensive menu but still so much to choose from. They offered a 3 course meal for 23 euros which was very reasonable. The portions were generous and more vegetables were offered if wanted. Food was cooked beautifully and the service was efficient and staff friendly

This is one of my favourite places to eat. A 3 course meal for onll €23. The food comes out qiuckly and is always beautiful in both taste and presentation. BYO booze for €4.50 corkage so for two 3 course meals and a bottle of your own wine its just €50.50. Excellent value.
