Description: Captain Americas brought the original burger to Ireland back in December...
Captain Americas brought the original burger to Ireland back in December 1971. Since then it has continued to serve good quality American style food at great value prices. Home to the famous Captain Americas hamburger and mouth watering flame grilled steaks, there is something for everyone on the menu. Captain Americas offers the most attractive lunch deals in town & the early bird menu is a great way to start every night out. Captain Americas has branches on Grafton St, Blanchardstown and in Cork City. All our restaurants are fully licensed and we have a great selection of cocktails, beers & wines for you to choose from. Over the years we have collected hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from visiting Irish and international stars such as U2, Colin Farrell, Westlife, Debbie Harry and David Bowie and Green Day. Our memorabilia museum creates a unique and interesting atmosphere in the restaurants. We take reservations for groups, please look at our bookings page for further information or call us on the number listed below. Open 7 days a week

Very disappointing

We were disappointed with the quality of the food and service. We had the ribs to start and while the meat was tender, the sauce was mostly tomato sauce.. I had the blue&bacon burger and the meat was very dry and I found a piece of tin foil in the bun. We called the waitress who took the piece to... read more

I think the customer service has really gone down hill, arrived here one Sunday at 21:05 to be told they don't take anymore orders after 21:00. We said we only wanted desert and saw a couple sitting in front of us with menus who still hadn't ordered and were told they couldn't even give us that. Very disappointing after travelling... More

was fairly disappointed with our visit here, food tasted good but when asked for a little extra cajon sauce as my daughter was really enjoying it, couldn't believe it when we were told it would cost an extra euro. Very disappointed in my dessert got a banana split and it was so plain just the banana , icecream and cream... More

A few years ago, captain americas was the place to be. Having recently visited there, I was shocked by standard of food, portions were smaller, and food was pretty tasteless...definitely not the same anymore!! Service was quite poor, felt we were being pushed out the door, even the host at the desk near the door was abrupt and not friendly... More

Have been here a couple of times and food was fair but a group of us went recently and starters were overpriced but food ok, main courses-- adults 4 burgers & 1 curry--children 3 chicken goujons were ok but Burgers were a absolute disgrace--cold & dry, streaky fat rashers and cheese likewise, chips were the cheapest rubbish you could buy,...
