Didn't plan to come here but city very busy and we hadn't booked. Staff helpfully found us somewhere and the food portions were massive and of really good quality. Bit like a huge American diner and very popular too. It was my 60th birthday celebration with family and with no notice at all they had rustled up a fabulous ice... More

Two of us visited here on the 30th December as we are always pleased with visits to the Captain Americas in Grafton Street in Dublin. The place was very busy but staff seemed all over the place and not in charge of the situation. We got a table after 15 minutes and proceeded to order. The food was disappointing. I... More

Ok so you're not going to visit here for haute cuisine....don't go there if burgers etc aren't you're kind of thing. It's exactly what we needed with the 4 kids after a day out in cork at the christmas lights. The food was nice and they have value meals too if you want to have starters and desserts. The staff... Huge portions, great food, great atmosphere........ there was a delay in getting served - but it was busy. Well worth a visit and good choice for vegetarian in our group too.

Poor customer service from the start and not able to think or be suggestive! We were a group of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. Somehow seating was a big issue, even though we could see lots of free tables. Some were reserved and they were quick enough to refuse us a table until we suggested that we could squeeze and... More

I love Captain America's, I've been here at least 30 times and there service and food is always consistent. There's a great atmosphere, it's always busy and it's casual enough to come in with friends after a day shopping yet formal enough to come for a dinner date! The food is tasty and the portions are huge, there are some... More
