this restaurant is within the art gallery and the design of the room extends a sense of 'class''; fare was good but not spectacular but the service was very pleasant and professional.

We found this excellent cafe by accident when we wandered in to the Gallery on the first afternoon of a short break in Cork. Excellent cup of tea in nice bone china cups and the most delicious cake we have ever tasted - orange and almond. The very friendly staff told me where to find the recipe so now I... More

Trip to Cork with family ended up here after shopping trip. Wasn't impressed on entering it has a very dull look about it and a musty smell . Food was ok, ordered a mocha - staff need to be taught how to make one ! Now don't get me wrong im a tea room owner and constructive criticism (which this... More

Very conveniently located in the excellent Crawford Gallery, the quality and range of food are first class. The plate of devilled kidneys on sourdough bread, available as a starter or main course, is a particular highlight. The wine, by the glass, is eminently drinkable. Prices are reasonable. The staff, though, are the highlight. Very friendly, helpful and full of advice... More

Situated within the Crawford Art Gallery the Gallery Cafe was a great favourite of mine in years past but as I've lived abroad my entire adult life to date I haven't visited in 20 or more years. I'm delighted to say that it's as good if not better than I remember. Friendly & efficient staff; good menu with choices to... More

Thats it.Its cold and dreary and expensive. Its located in a gallery i and its a pity some effort is not made to make both this restaurant and the gallery itself more attractive.

Having walked around the Gallery, we were in great need for the services of this Cafe, and they did not let us down. It is good to know, however, that on busy days, they cannot serve tea/coffee only after 12.00 noon.

Love this cafe. Often go in while my son attends art class in the gallery. Have eaten beautiful lunches in here

I went here to meet a cousin from the area who had recommended it. It looks very ordinary when you peek in, but there's a reason for the steady stream of customers and that's the good food at reasonable prices. I had tasty fresh salmon fishcakes, served with a very good roasted red pepper aioli and green salad. The aioli... More

The Gallery Café is as described inside the Cork Crawford Gallery. It is situated on the ground floor and is always full of a mixture of visitors to the gallery, students and shoppers. Its pretty large inside and does lovely scones, carrot cake, and various other delicacies that go well with a cup of Earl Grey or cup of Latte.... More
