My husband & I had such a delightful meal in oysters. I went for the set menu which was incredibly good value. The best chowder ever. Devine wine & very friendly staff! No rush whatsoever, a thoroughly relaxing & enjoyable evening. There is a very talented chef in this kitchen who just knows how to marry good quality fresh food.

As the name suggests the fish is their speciality but there are lots of alternatives. We opted for turbot and hake for mains that were superb. The starters and muse bouche were also excuisite and with a shred desert and a bottle of wine, we had an excellent night out for €88 excl tip. The ambience was really nice despite... More

We ate here the first night in Cork and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is not affiliated with the hotel, and all of the seafood we had was excellent. I had the 3 course tasting menu that included dessert, all of which was excellent. And add in the piano player or the music from Spotify, and it is a very... More

My wife and I dined in Oyster's this evening. We were greeted by the most courteous staff with a smile which immediately puts you in an even better mood. Kudos to Donald for reception training! We had immediate attention and placed our order very quickly. We got a yummy opening drink concocted with apples and tomatoes, I kid you not!... More

Pros: Innovative Food, Great Staff, Attractive Space, Excellent Value Cons: Oysters is located in the Clarion Hotel in Cork and from the beginning of the meal to the end I was impressed by the innovative approach to food it displayed. Starting with the Seafood Chowder I expected the usual bowl of a rich creamy soup with lots of different types... More

Being seafood lovers we were looking forward to our meal in Oysters & we weren't disappointed. We chose from the a la carte which can be an expensive option but in my opinion worth every penny, we had scallops, oysters, monkfish & hake & everything was delicious & presentation was superb. There is a set menu very reasonably priced &... More

2nd visit to this visit and I can't rate it highly enough! The staff, service and more importantly the food are all outstanding. We sampled the scallops, chowder, hake, steak, cheese board and chef's selection of desserts and each plate was as sublime as the other. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this as the best restaurant I've had the pleasure... More

My husnad and I ate dinner here on a recent trip to Cork. The selection of restaurants in Cork is often a little underwhelming BUT... Oysters is a very welcome addition! The fact that it is set inside a hotel would usually deter me. As a rule I find hotel restaurants underwhelming... however Oysters is an exception. We ate at... More
