Myself and work colleagues went here for a work night out, a group of about 20 of us. The service in the restaurant was very good, very attentive and always filling your glass. The food tasted nice just wish there was more of it on the plate. Artistically to the eye when it comes out looks fantastic but very small... More

I was suprised to find this was a hotel lobby restaurant and it is distinctly lacking in both atmosphere and service. Limited menu choice. Several items unavailable. My 'special' was mediocre. And pricey! We escaped in under an hour. This is not the best Cork has to offer.

I brought my girlfriend there for dinner last week. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, the food was good. But good doesn't cut it for a 90€ bill (1 starter, 2 mains and a wine carafe). The hotel looks very nice but the restaurant itself looks ok, nice but nothing special though. My only positive point is the piano... More

Yes it is in a hotel but you must try it. It has a relaxed atmosphere and efficient service. The seafood chowder was perfect. The John Dory was seasoned nicely and cooked just right. The deserts were great but my have favorite was the pear dish. They have a great wine list.

Ate here last night for the second time and it was even better than I remembered. The service is excellent, the food Michelin-worthy and the talented pianist really sets the mood for a relaxed evening of fine dining. Great wine selection too. Highly recommend this spot.

Went there for the fourth time recently and overall this place just does not disappoint! Had the seafood chowder for starter, which is just beautiful with little pieces of bacon. I had the John Dory for main which was a beautiful piece of fish. The only issue and its really really minor is that the deserts could be improved ever... More

If you re seeking great fresh seafood in Cork, perfectly prepared, presented and served then reserve a table in Oysters. This unusual review title is awarding the restaurant 10 for greeting, 10 for menu content, 10 for food quality and presentation, 10 for impeccable friendly service, and a 7 for decor over which the management have no control, but as... Went here on the recommendation of a work colleague who has very high standards, impeccable taste and knows that I really love good quality seafood. The restaurant is open 5.30 till 10 Tuesday to Saturday. I rang at 2 o clock to make a reservation for 7.30 that night, left a message on the voice mail and it being the... More
