We enjoyed an excellent meal here, recommended by a local as the best restaurant in Cork. Quiet fine dining atmosphere. Excellent wine list. Cocktails were good too. Seafood was superbly cooked and immaculately served as befits the price. Decor upmarket and comfortable, an excellent place for couples / business dinners, probably not children.

Oysters is a reasonably high priced seafood restaurant in the Clarion hotel in Cork city. All of the food and wine that we had was delicious - no argument there. We had a great time catching up with friends but you bring your own atmosphere here - the design and ambiance of the dining room itself, while new and pleasant,... More

Recently revisited Oysters on a busy Friday night. While menu choice is somewhat limited, food is delicious with sublime hidden flavours. We ate fish for both starter and main course and were not disappointed with the monkfish risotto being outstanding. While not usually a dessert person it was hard to pass the Cafe Gourmand which allowed one to choose any... More

The food we had was of a very high quality and we both enjoyed. My wife had monkfish for main course, which was plentiful( see attached photo) while I had the sirloin of beef which was... More

We were staying at the Clarion for a few days and had heard good reports of Oysters, which is operated independently of the hotel. From the moment we walked through the door, we got a great welcome and were surprised at how the restaurant had been transformed from breakfast time. It had a really cosy atmosphere. We both chose from... More

Visited Oysters Restaurant with a group of 10 family members ranging in age from 23 to 92 and everyone was thrilled with the food. Each course was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was incredible and made for a very enjoyable family celebration. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
