I recently visited The Overdraught with my wife and parents in law for a dinner. This place easily matches some of the best restaurants in the city. The service was outstanding - very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was well prepared and presented. It came in generous portions, the quality of the food was excellent and it came at... More

Always have loved food here and the expansive options on menu. Top class food. Wouldn't be a place to bring a lady on date but marvellous food all the same!

We went to this restaurant for lunch on Easter Sunday based on the strength of these reviews. I must say the food was very good and plenty of it. However, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. This was mentioned to a waitress and she said they would turn the heat up. There was still no heat in the restaurant when we... More

The nicest desert menu and as we were full we were able to take the desert home! Definitely going back and will bring the kids the... More

From the started to the main course everything is perfect. I have had the steak here a number of times and my partner usually gets sea food. both... More

Recently re-visited the Overdraught in Tracton near Minane Bridge and it's like stepping back in time but in a positive, almost reminiscent way. Back to the days when you could get genuinely friendly service, good food with generous portions, allowed time to savour and enjoy the experience with a little something that's rare today, informality and familiarity and all very... Ok so you have to travel a little to get here...hence the wait part of the tag line but to be honest I'd rather travel a little to enjoy a meal a LOT ! Really this place is a gem, now admittedly the decor may be a little dark and dated and the music may be a little of the... More
