Better inside!

We ate there with my girlfriend a Tuesday night and overall it was an OK experience. The restaurant isn't really appealing from outside, it looks nicer inside. In an effort to attract people passing by, it is a bit over bright inside. No complain about the service, fast enough, polite and... read more

We stayed in Cork for the weekend starting on a Sunday and came to N Square. We had a lovely 3 course for €20 each and a lovely bottle of wine. Food and service excellent. Well worth your custom. Great service with a smile, will be back again.

Avoid to go to this restaurant, they close every day at a different time depending on how many people there are or how tired/bored the stuff is, you never can be sure it is open except whether you have booked but be ready most of the time to listen that on that day they are "exceptionally" closing earlier. It's a... More

My husband and I ate here recently and we were very pleased with both food and service, the Restaurant was very busy on a Thursday night but we were not neglected. What we got was excellent, a couple dishes were gone as we were in after 8pm, a sign that business was brisk, and I heard no fellow diners complain.... More

Avoid this place if down in Cork. Waiting ages for meal. My husband ordered fish cakes, we keeled over laughing when we seen how tiny they were. I got garlic mushrooms, they were missing the garlic. Food was expensive and inadequate as portion size was very small and veg was minimal. Lots of better restaurants in Cork City, steer clear... More

Went here for my Sister in Laws birthday dinner, there were 10 of us. First impressions in terms of the décor were low however what it lacked in décor it made up for in service and most importantly the food. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful - this was not to be faulted. Service is a little slow... More

had dinner here a few weeks ago with my mother and aunt, before going to a show. The food was excellent and the service by the owner was great. She was really chatty and welcoming. i commented that my salmon was cooked to perfection, and the cheesecake for dessert was divine. I have been here a few times and always... More

My wife and I had a meal in this lovely restaurant on Friday night last and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have had in Cork. The athmosphere was relaxed and friendly with a mediteranean feel and we felt that you could just as easily been in france or spain except for the cold... More

I was working nearby and decided to call in for a good meal after a long days work. I was presented with the largest and finest T bone steak I have ever seen along with plenty of veg and potatoes. I just had the main so the service was quick enough and very friendly. The surroundings are unique in Cork... More
