Good value

The pub is very well located and actually looks more beautiful than average, so you would normally think it is some sort of a pricey tourist trap; as a matter of fact, it is not pricey at all and lots of locals were there. Been here a few times for lunchtime pints, The bouncers that come on for the night shift are pretty rude for no reason , wont be going back.

I popped in here for a "couple" of beers last week and loved it. It has a small stage for live music and the Beamish is fabulous. Bar staff were very polite too.

We went for a dinner with some live music on a Monday night and we were not disappointed. The candle lit timber cladded interior has a wonderfully warm atmosphere. Make sure you try the Irish stew (or a meatier option is the Cork Coddle)! Live music was fine; acoustic pop, not quite the traditional Irish music we were expecting.
