Great location. The entertainment is always top class and it is usually local bands that perform. Bar service is good and no messing is allowed.

A really great place for dinner, drinks and live music. Quick meal service, delicious food, good selection of starters and mains. Live music upstairs was fantastic. Nice pub ambiance.

This place is a gem for both the local and tourist alike-there's a great atmosphere in here and the wonderful staff definitely attribute to this! We were here when there was live music on-think they do two sessions every evening every night of the week, so lively and we also had a quick bite to eat with both of us... More

One of the best live music venues in Cork. They have several floors and each level could have live music all playing at the same time. They are avid supporters of local music talent as well as the big names. I have come across new live acts as a result of visits here. It does get very crowded on Saturdays... More

We were on the lookout for a place serving dinner with an early music session and the Oliver Plunkett upstairs was recommended by our hosts. After a doubtful start - we were the only ones there along with our friendly waitress - things soon livened up as the place filled and the music began. The food was typical 'pub' food... More

Had lunch here yesterday. Food was very good and a good choice on the menu. Bar service was slow, I had queued to order a few drinks for about 4-5mins but bar staff failed to see me a few times (although it wasnt very busy) so I just got water from the self service water area. I didnt want to... More

My niece arrived from England for a few days rest and asked to go to a pub with live music. We went last Friday and what an enjoyable evening we had. It was very buzzy, and the music was varied, dancing, singing, craic. Would highly recommend it. There were two sessions available, We went to the 6.30pm one (another around... More

Great choice for breakfast and lunch. Excellent service. If you are a coffee drinker then you buy one and refills are there for you to pour at your leisure. Relaxing and comfortable, wi-fi available. Upstairs there is a smoking area again extremely comfortable. Well worth a visit as it is one of the best pubs in Cork with live music... More

The family at our B & B recommended we check out The Oliver Plunkett. We went there late on a Sunday evening and they had live music and a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere. We came back for some pints a few days later. The staff and customers were so friendly! Unfortunately, we weren't able to eat here at all but the... More
