We were in Cork just as a day trip and found Oliver Plunketts, for a very good, quick, lunch. Even for lunch the place had atmosphere. Very busy. Good wait staff. Hot tasty food. Would look to return again.

Nice atmosphere, good though limited food menu. Many local and international beer choices. Live entertainment upstairs. Easy to get to if staying downtown.

We ended up going here both nights of our stay. I didn't eat here but the music and craic in the upstairs bar were brilliant. The staff were very friendly.

This is a great pub, we went there twice and enjoyed it both times very much. The traditional music and dance (on the first floor) are very good and the food is also nice (we enjoyed the soup and the chicken pie, which is amazing). Also, the location of the pub is really good. :)

We had an international group from Asia and India, so we wanted to take them to a traditional Irish Pub. The dancing, live music and flowing tap made for a fun night. Everyone had fish and chips, and we called it a success! It's a lively, fun place to hang out.

I only have an hour for lunch so it's great to find somewhere like the Oliver Plunkett. It does both lunches and sandwiches. The service is quick and the food is good. On two recent visits I had the steak burger and lasagne. Both were very tasty. The lasagne was better value at around €10.50 while the steak burger seemed... More

Busy Bar Restaurant. We didn't eat here - but they have live entertainment daily....and so many different kinds of beer and whiskey. We just sat there for hours and people watched.

Great selection of local draft beers! They have Franciscan well brewery beers and my favorite stout, murphys. Well worth a visit if you're in cork. They have live music upstairs that's well worth a visit.
