Great scones

We stopped off here recently and had delicious apple scones and coffee, as the weather was warm, we sat outside. Plenty of room inside and at the back also. Loved the really big scones, with jam and plenty of cream, coffee good also.

We ate most of our meals here during our 3 day stay in Cork (3 breakfasts, one lunch and one dinner) as it was such a lovely place, serving great home-cooked nosh and people working there were friendly and efficient. My only regret was not coming to dinner here on our first night when we ventured into town centre trying... More

I visited the place with my 10 year old son. We shared an Irish breakfast (more than enough for the two of us) and some pancakes, for 9 and 6 euro each of the dishes. The first was really nice and coffee was included. As for the second, I'd say that what we had were crêpes, not pancakes. They were... More

We were staying in the riverlee hotel and looking for a place that did all day breakfast. Stumbled across this place a few steps from the hotel and it was epic! The staff were really friendly and accommodating to us ordering slightly outside what was on the menu. Had poached eggs on homemade soda bread and mushrooms. The bread was... More

We were staying in a B&B in Cork and were told to try Serendipity. They don't serve beer but their limited wine list has a few nice drops. The food was the biggest surprise, it was sensational for the price! The service was very good as well. Worth trying if you are in Cork

It didn't wow us food-wise, but the back patio is a really nice spot to enjoy lunch on a sunny day. The service was very good, very friendly.

We stumbled upon this eatery while strolling Cork City. We were drawn in by the 3 course early bird meal for 23 Euros apiece. This was quite the deal as the food was outstanding. Unique dishes. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his East Indian style beef dish and the grilled, veggie loaded goat cheese topped tart that I selected was fabulous and... More

Ate here two mornings in a row it was that good. Great coffee, great full Irish, and great French toast. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the service was seller. And very well priced and they take cards.

Came by here on our way out of Cork after a couple days at the River Lee Hotel across the street. Tuesday morning and it was quiet. Speedy service and tasty food at reasonable prices. Eggs Benedict was solid, get the spinach and bacon combo. We also had the pancakes which were closer to a crepe in our breakfast spectrum,... More
