My roommate and I always go to Cafe Serendipity. We stumbled upon it on our way to campus and finally went in. The food is so tasty and has such a good variety for being a small cafe. There are great breakfast and lunch options. I've had a few things on the menu and I'm always satisfied with any choice... More

I read the previous reviews and tried the Rogan Josh here last Saturday afternoon. I chose chicken as opposed to beef and oh my god! It was so tasty and full of flavour, I absolutely loved it! Seriously everybody has got to try it!!

Had a work party here with 13 colleagues and it was fabulous. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and they were so helpful with all our various dietary requirements! Try the gluten free bread; superb!

Had two meals here during my week long business trip - both Lunch and Dinner. Food was excellent on both occasions; this is small cafe offering great personal service as well. Serendipity is directly across from the River Lee Hotel making it a "must" go to if you are staying at the River Lee.

I'm a frequent customer at Serendipity and I've never once left disappointed. The food is consistently outstanding (especially the chicken rogan josh) and the waitresses are so welcoming and friendly. The little mints at the till are also a nice touch.

I visit here quite frequently (weekly), and the staff here are welcoming and the food delightful. Each dish I have has had a slightly different twist that is a surprise...The staff are responsive and they make each coffee with great care. The presentation of the food is always excellent. Highly recommeded!!

Found this place while walking from UCC and it looked good. The decor was very warm and homely with a touch of elegance. As good as the service and decor were, the food was very average. The menu comprised of items such as eggs florentine, fillet steak baguette, sandwiches, soups and breakfast items. It seemed very limited and expensive for... More

This small and friendly restaurant is just across the road from The River Lee Hotel and when the weather is bad , is an ideal place to eat, rather than head for town. We had dinner there on Saturday night and had a lovely evening

This was my second visit to cafe serendipity. As it was breakfast time, I had the pancakes with berry compote which were delicious and surprisingly filling! I have to say staff were very pleasant and helpful. Decor inside is also lovely. Will definitely visit again. A nice little cafe to catch up with friends over some great food! :)
