Great Malaysian flavours

Authentic Malaysian chef explains the menu and the flavours - having spent some time in Malaysia in the summer - this is as good as being there. My eating partner had the burger which was chargrilled and vert tasty - served with a Waterford Blaa which is one of the 5 (only) Protected Geographical... read more

Went there for lunch yesterday. I had the pumpkin soup which was nice but only barely filled half way up the tiny bowl and one small slice of brown bread. Extortionate price. I also had the Thai Beef Salad. It was absolutely drowned in a cheap sweet chilli sause and only a few small pieces of beef on a large... More

My friends and I decided to get away from the stress of studying for exams in UCC and treat ourselves to a nice lunch on campus. However, we were not only extremely dissatisfied with our meal but also left feeling very unwell for the rest of the day. What makes things worse is that this was not an isolated occurrence- last... More

Visited Fresco for a coffee recently, service was horrendous. Waited for ages to be seated while the waitress ran around bringing cutlery to a table one set at a time (seriously, four cutlery trips to the same table). Waited 40 minutes for two hot chocolates and a brownie. The cafe was not even half full. Loads of dirty tables, staff... More

When I went home I had some Andrews Salts to settle my tummy from all the grease. Surroundings in the restaurant [all steel]...please paint over this steel with a warm colour...this will help it and... More

I wanted to visit the Lewis Glucksman Gallery in the morning and didn't really know where to eat, but downstairs I found Fresco so decided to have breakfast there. The surroundings were pleasant, even on the dreary rainy day, and the staff were pleasant. The French Toast was done well and was delicious with the bacon. I grabbed a mocha, which... More

Great coffee and brunch options, you will not be disappointed! This has become a regular treat for me. Staff are very friendly and provide great service. Expect a wait for a table at peak times like 1pm on a Saturday, worth the wait!

My sister recommend this cafe so during a visit to cork decided to drop in. Felt had to write a review - one of those pleasent surprises you get on occasion. Food great - had lunch tasty and good value all in this lovely relaxed setting.
