This is a very nice italian cafè and restaurant. It is a very clean and tidy place. The food is the real authentic italian food, and everything is really tasty and genuine. They serve the authentic italian breakfast with italian espresso and cappuccino. I went there many times to taste delicious fresh pasta, fish and meat, but also for a... More

This evening we shared anti pasti of olives and bruschetta. Both were excellent, the bruschetta in particular was full of flavour, 4 pieces of bruschetta each with a different topping and all delicious. The olives were plentiful and delicious. Main courses were Penne Pasta with Salmon and Fusilli with onion and gorgonzola dressing. Both were very tasty, with the Penne... More

Smart lunchtime shoppers have discovered this lovely venue at the start of Oliver Plunkett Street, with its limited, but delicious carte, going from panini to soup, or a cup of soup and a sandwich, or pasta of the day, accompanied by a glass of wine, or an excellent espresso. The service is prompt, and friendly, and some evenings you could... More

This is a fantastic little cafe/restaurant in Cork City. The staff are very friendly and the food is authentic Italian and very tasty. I had a baked rigatoni with porchetta and mozzarella in a tomato sauce. Although it lacked a little seasoning it was still delicious. The recommended house wine was great as was the espresso to finish. One thing... More

The only italian restaurant in Cork where you can eat as in Italy. The quality of food is always very high. I had pasta and my husband had a simple plate of ham and mozzarella. It's so easy to go wrong on easy stuff, but they never do. Pesto has the taste of Liguria. The Ricotta and chocolate tart was... More

The Italee is situated on Oliver Plunkett Street opposite the Market Lane restaurant. My husband and I had lunch which was very nice, a mini home made soup, bruschetta, pasta of the day and tiramisu followed by a large pot of tea. Very reasonably priced, the waitress was pleasant and polite.

We arrived and were seated straight away. We had cold meats and cheese to start. A bottle of house red, linguine with cod and rigatoni with cheese and ham. We could not pass on the deserts so we had the chocolate mouse and tiramasu. Has to be the best food we have had and such good value too. I can... More
