I have gone to the pavilion on 2 occasions (downstairs) and have been disappointed both times. While the place looks very inviting from the outside, I found that once you get in and find yourself a seat you find the service absolutely shocking, the prices expensive and the quality poor. While it had a lot of staff on both occasions... More

Called in here on spec on a two day break in Cork. Was a lovely warm day and you could sit outside or enjoy the breeze through the windows inside. The food was tasty and presented beautifully, lots of time and attention paid to it. There were a few vegetarian options on the menu so it is a perfect choice... More

Listened to Jon Gomm who is from England but knows how to play that guitar. Afterwards we listened to the DJs, one upstairs and downstairs. We stayed til 1am. Lots of people dancing... the age ranges from young to old...so a very nice mix.

Popped into the Pav (as it's known locally) for lunch twice recently, first time with my daughter second time it was a business lunch. On both occasions I felt welcome from the second I came through the door. The food was freshly prepared and very nice. The staff were polite, and friendly and didn't keep annoying us to see if... I love the pav, I go there often for coffee or lunch. The halloumi salad takes the top spot in the yum ratings but there are many other tasty bites on offer. Coffee is good and there are some sweet things and scones that you can have with it. Best lampshades in cork. Lovely staff.

Visited earlier in the year, had always associated the Pavilion with hedonistic nights because of the offerings of electronic music it serves up so I was surprised to find there was a great offering of cuisine to be had. Excellent menu with plenty of options. I went for the steak and cheese burger and I was not disappointed, in fact... More

A friend of mine mentioned the pavilion, there was a reggae party over there. And I really loved it! Went for a drink a few days after and it was really nice. You would see me often!

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this gem as we were looking for somewhere that served breakfast. The service was excellent and friendly, atmosphere was chilled which is what you want and need after a busy weekend in Cork city and best of all the food was tasty!
