This is a fantastic pub. Wonderful Irish style interior, fantastic food, I'm always interested to see what they have on their specials of the day. Incredible staff, I once asked for scallops not to be included on my dish as I'm not a fan of them, and was offered a free selection of ice creams to compensate. Amazing! Pints are... More

We used a Living Social Voucher (€30 for €15) but had we paid the full €30 it would still have been tremendous value - we shared a large BBQ chicken wings as a starter followed by the delicious fish pie with chips and veg and roast chicken with mash and veg all for €31.50 (before using the voucher ). Popped in here more than once during the festive period. By far the best pub in Douglas. Staff are very friendly and very efficient (as we'd say in Cork they 'are on the ball'). A match for any pub in the city centre. Whilst renovated and extended in recent years it retains that old world charm. Open fire and large... More

Went here for dinner with a group of friends Great place for a catch-up, very relaxed and unlike lots of other places didn't feel rushed, were able to sit and chat for the evening after our meal. Food was great, a lot better than we expected and definitely would recommend The Big Salad (it really is very big :p ).... More
