Downstairs is the bar which is very popular and upstairs the restaurant which on a Wednesday was full. Service generally good menu varied, steak ok. A pleasant experience would come again

We came here for drinks and bar food on a Thursday evening, we got a nice table by the window in a dropped area on the right by the door,we sat for five minutes before our table was cleared of coffee cups and sugar papers, my partner went to the bar and ordered drinks, a nice waitress then came over... Arrived on spec (during the jazz festival when the place was heaving) and told that the restaurant was fully booked but if we waited there would be a table in the fish bar. Had only just got a drink from the bar when we were shown to a lovely table overlooking the river. Had a laugh and a joke with... More

We had dinner here on Friday 21 November 2014 for my niece's birthday. The staff were friendly and our waitress was excellent but the food was fairly poor. I ordered mussels, a good number of which were not fully opened and my chicken main course was cold and the spinach and feta stuffing was spread all over the mash which... More

Unfortunately was very disappointed with it despite having heard good things. Waiter we had was unfriendly telling us the 'kitchen was very busy' so we had 3 minutes to place our order. Food average. One main course was not ordered by our waiter. It arrived well after the rest of our group had finished. Their starter was deducted from the... More

This restaurant is situated bang in the centre of the city. A great pre theatre spot. Beside the river.A few Bar tables overlooking the river. Upstairs there are two coices. A table service restaurant and a newer Fish restaurant overlooking the river, high stools by the window. This is open a couple of nights a week. We go here regularly lunch... More

I would recommend checkout out this establishment. The service was fantastic and the 3 course early bird special was amazing. The location is amazing nice and close to the river with a nice downstairs area for a few drinks and upstairs for a meal it is great with the drinking culture these two areas are separate. We will frequent this... More

Very good food, but small portions and definitely overpriced. Plenty of fish on the menu but not a great selection of meat dishes. We had a window seat which overlooked the street and we spent some time people watching. Good service and waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Would definitely make a return visit when next in Cork.

Excellent fish tapas bar. You can eat to your pocket. Fab selection of fresh fish and shell fish with funky sides like butternut squash with pecans and blue cheese.

I had a lovely platter of fish , elegantly served with a view of a seal from my river side seat with a nice crisp white wine , the next time I went the lunch time selection and lack of table service was poor . I would go back if I could be served at my table with less than... More
