I ordered the roast beef with potatos and vegetables with a dark gravy. I also had a salad. I came during happy hour or early... read more

Beautiful setting, nice relaxed atmosphere, forensically clean with excellent menu. There is something for everyone in this newly revamped bar/ restaurant. It doesn't take long to see the hard work and dedication in this family run business. From the courtyard Pizza Hut to the amazing restaurant menu this place has it all. I was blown away with there courtyard, there... More

"Ate" here recently and, as the inverted comma's indicate, was not impressed. Twelve of us had the misfortune of eating at The Captains Table restaurant, and all found it a truely Forgettable experience. To be fair, the brown bread was very good but it ends there. Vegetable soup was a strange orange colour (processed perhaps?!), and vol au vents way... More

The service was very slow- they forgot about us twice! The food was adequate. The fried fish was tasteless. The highlight of the meal was a visit from the owner, who was very engaging. However, despite liking him a lot we cannot recommend the food. Perhaps just go for a drink and enjoy the owners great stories.

The food here was great. They are very family friendly, as they have high chairs. We got their traditional Irish breakfast, which was great. The service was nice and the food was reasonable priced.
