I can't be certain but I felt that my Mala Spicy Lamb Hot Pot had a lot of MSG - it certainly tasted like it did. Other than that our starters of BBQ spare ribs and chicken spring rolls were very nice as was the roast duck. We needed a quick meal and the staff obliged with speedy and attentive... More

It's hard to get good Chinese food now a days, most places just throw out mass produced slop, if your eating in a restaurant your getting the same food they throw in a foil tray and hand to the delivery man, but yaun ming is the 1st Chinese restaurant I've been to in a long time that I enjoyed, and... I have been in this restaurant a number of times during the year and it is very hard to beat. It is excellent on all levels. The food is delicious and well priced and the service is outstanding. Regular customer and it will always remain this way.

I have went to this restaurant a good five times over the past three years and they have consistently delivered a fantastic dining experience. This is not your average Chinese food place. Expect to be surprised! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, humble, accommodating and attentive. While their menu features the common dishes popular as Chinese dishes in Europe you... More

I really enjoyed the dim sum menu and the other food choices, it tastes really good and is very cheap considering. You can get a full lunch menu for under 10 Euro. The only reason not to give 5 stars is because it felt a bit like European visitors are not completely welcome. You are seated far away from Asian... More

It's nice to know one can eat dim sum in Cork when the craving hits! Looking forward to trying their soup noodles next time. Excellent and prompt service from entire wait staff!

After developing a taste in the past year for the real thing, I was anxious to see if I could find some in Ireland. This place cropped up in conversation with folks, so I wandered in just before lunch for dim sum. I'd have to say it was Pretty good. Definitely not like the usual western interpretation of Chinese food.... More

The food while came warm did not take long to go cold in this weather. For such a high rated restaurant you would have thought the servings came pre heated with candle warmers... The food itself was no better than a €8; special in my local Chinese. . Way over rated.. back to china!!!

We went to the restaurant during New Year's Eve 2014, the food was amazing, with a particular mention to the dumplings!!! The service is really really good!

This must be the best Chinese Restaurant in Cork City and surely one of the best restaurants in general! I tried it today the first time for lunch and went back for dinner too! :) The menu is simple and complete, it offers several interesting options, including vegetarian / vegan. Wines and desserts are available too. Some of the dishes... More
