Delighted to find dim sum in Cork

We always enjoyed dim sum in Dublin and have missed it since we moved to Cork. I had heard that Yuan Ming Yuan did it and eventually, as a pre-panto dinner, we arrived on a wet Sunday afternoon in January. We were informed by the waiting staff that nothing with fresh prawns in it was available... read more

We have eaten here a few times and I must say since the closure of The Ambassador which was a great Chinese, this is also good. The place is not as elegant as the ambassador, but the food and service is very good. We will continue to frequent yuan Ming.

I used to love this restaurant but I'm not sure if I would come back any time soon.I did enjoyed my starter ;mussels in black bean sauce but my main course was tasteless and very watery.I have to say the staff is very friendly and helpful but the food is just average.

my partner and me are going twice per month. The Dim Sums are great and they have a lot to choose. Amazing crispy lamb. Some of the dishes in the menu are not really good but some of them are great

We moved to Southern Ireland over two years ago from London. We found a couple of fantastic dim sum restaurants in London, and was disappointed that we did not have any near us in Ireland. Then we found this place in cork city. It's amazing, the dim sum is outstanding. The restaurant is clean, the staff are very efficient and... More

Amazing Chinese cuisine, there's nothing more exciting than to hear your dish sizzling on your table. Staff is super friendly and helpful, the restaurant is also beautifully decorated: from the ceiling to the ground everything has been taken care of. Truly an amazing place.
