Can't for the life of me understand people queuing for god knows how long for food that is no different than what you get in other chippers, people just buying into the hype in my opinion. Food is nice ya but at the end it's a chipper same old same old nothing special!

This place is seriously addictive! I live 30mins away but the king creole (my favourite thing on the menu) is well worth the drive! For anyone who doesn't know, the creole is basically a wrap filled with chips, mayo, spicy or plain chicken and topped with lettuce... ITS AMAZING!! If you haven't been here, just do it... Quickly!!

Very disappointed by this Cork institution. KC's is of course a fast-food joint but given its legendary status in Cork and numerous Bridgestone awards I think it deserves to be featured on review websites. I was lucky to only queue for 5mins compared to others who wait 30mins or more. I tried their signature King Creole pita and found it... More

Great menu, not your typical fish and chipper, everything is super fresh, cant beat a Chimichanga or a Kansas City Pita as an alternative to a burger or fish. Queues only speak of the quality and value - definitely a must do experience in Cork

Fish is very much a secondery part of what this place offers. If you want traditional fish and chips you have Just one choice Fish of the day so pot luck if it is what you desire. It is much more like a Hybrid Burger/Fast food outlet. We were lucky they had Haddock on and it was very nice however... More

Have you hear of this place? KC & sons.ie..?? Google it (other search engines are available yet I don’t think as good..x).. it’s worth it.. they even have a Q cam so you can check the line.. and it can be a serious line indeed!!! It’s a modern day chipper.. I have never experienced anything like it. The brand marketing... More

Without a doubt my favourite chipper in Cork. Delicious and unique menu, I've loved everything I've tried so far (especially the Polynesian, yummy!) Lovely staff. Never disappointed!

Could be the best cheese burger I've had, full stop! Bombay is also delicious. Temptation is of course to go for delicious pittas but as one previous reviewer said there can be small inconsistencies here. Don't have chips anymore , they have always been on good side of average but when they changed curry recipe a few years ago the... More
