My friends live in Douglas and had told me about this place. So, my new husband and I went with them after a day of shopping in Cork. OH MY WOW! We got back to our friend's home and I finally got to open my bag and pop a chip in my mouth. I was transported to being a little... More

KCs is a great chipper. The service is fast and friendly. The food is pretty good quality. The portions are a good size and reasonably priced. The menu is pretty unique and diverse. There's only one criticism which is the very small venue they work out of. For such a popular chipper the queue can literally span half the length... More

whenever I pass its packed, literally crawling out the door, Its like the size of an alley way but less than half the size in lenght, its way to small you be getting claustrophobic waiting in the que. I think its like any other chipper no difference at all still serve the same greasy food that I get better elsewhere... More

I've been getting take away here for years and I'm sure like many other people the only negative thing I have to say about KC'S is the queue is ridiculous! All part of the charm really as the queue indicates the popularity of the place. Staff are so efficient and lovely!I also love the fact that it's the only chipper that... More

A landmark in Douglas…. have been going to K.C.'s for years. My extended family lives in Douglas and I visit 2-3 times per year and have takeaway from K.C.'s every Friday. The food and experience is fantastic every time. An old fashioned takeaway chipper. Try the potato cakes, chips, etc…. the best you will ever have….

So yum. ! Can't believe I was in cork 4 years before trying this. So lovely and quick service . I like the extensive menu and the unique recipes . So worth the queue and if you get there early the queue isn't that bad.

Literally the best fast food in Cork, never quite was a fan of the famous Creole (just dont think chips belong in a sandwich!) but love the white leghorn and rhode island red. Portions are generous and always filled to the brim. Queues are never as bad as others have made them out to be, never had to wait more... More

When I first moved to Cork and being a foodie, I always asked for recommendations from everyone and KC's and the queue cam were always mentioned. Finally got to try it after about a year of recommendations, with Alex. Will definitely be returning but decided to start my KC's adventure with a King Creole and chips. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Nuf said 😊
