Went for Saturday lunch with husband and father-in-law. They both had whiting and chips. Huge portions and they said it was very tasty! I decided to be adventurous and have the healthy chickpea burger. Great decision! It came in flatbread which was a lovely change from a bap. The burger was amazing. Delicious and moist with great flavours. I asked... More

5 of us came to dine. We had a table reserved and were immediately shown to it. While perusing the menu wine was delivered. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant A small error with fod was quickly and pleasantly corrected without question A most pleasant and reasonable evening. Highly recommended

Went here to meet a friend of mine for a quick drink got him a ticket for Christy moore at live at the marquee and he was meeting me to collect the ticket. I arrived before my friend asked the cranky looking barman for a pint and he had a face on him like a bulldog chewing a wasp. He... More

My sister and I went to Barry's for lunch today. I was adventurous and went for the "Fully-Loaded Cajun Chicken Burger" and the way the small subtitles of each of the ingredients complimented the freshly cooked juicy cajun chicken breast was just sublime!! I mean out of this world delicious!! The avocado mayonnaise was a most perfect touch I must... More

A group of us arrived on a weekend to eat. The first thing we noticed is that the restaurant area is separated from the pub by a partition. The loud music from the bar area can be quite intrusive. After we arrived, it took quite a while for somebody to come over to take our order. When the service did... More

Recently visited Barry's with some friends and decided to have some food. Menu was quite extensive and the €19 Special Dinner menu ( 2 courses) was particularly good value. All of us tried something different and were well satisfied with both the quality of the food and the excellent service.Bar/ Restaurant was busy for a Thurs evening ( 7pm) with... More

We arrived on a very busy night. The Manager told us a table in the restaurant would take 20 minutes but that we could eat in the bar if we found a table. We found a table and the (honest) waitress told us we had zero chance of getting food in any reasonable time-frame. Returning to the restaurant proved even... More
