Barry's food

Liked the look and location of the place and the food was great, but didn't like the wait between courses and tbh I thought the portions were quite small...sorry.

Was greeted by the woman serving after asking for the menu informing me that the chef would not release the menu for another 10 minutes even though the sign outside said food was available all day. (About 15.45) Although this was a poor sign from the start we had already ordered drinks and decided to stay. About 20 min later... More

Four of us had Dinner in Barry's last Tuesday week. When I googled Barry's to have a look at the menus, it gave me the option to book our Table online, which I did. I received confirmation immediately. There was a 2 course menu for €19.00 q main course with starter/ dessert. This was great value with a great choice.... More

We ate from the bar menu - got noisy in bar when music started up so we were moved to the Restaurant no bother after our starters - how cool even though we were only on the bar menu. There were 9 of us together. Darren was our waiter - what a champion! We are still talking about how super... More

This was our second visit to the restaurant and we were blown away by the standard of the food. As this was a special celebration we pushed the boat out and enjoyed the high end dishes on the menu. I loved the Duck Confit starter with Plum Sauce and for the main course we enjoyed the Filet Steak. This was... More

We visited on a Thurs night, we had the 2 course menu for €19. We thought they had plenty of choices, very well presented. Very good food.

Restaurant offers good food at affordable prices. Management & staff are always helpful & friendly. A lot of the same staff for quite some time - that's always a good sign . Restaurant & bar have a great atmosphere , always makes for a good night out. Restaurant is also family friendly if you have small kids

"Does what it says on the tin" Everything about the place is grand! Nothing bad to say about but nothing fantastic either! Wouldn't be my choice of restaurant but if going in a group again I'd go back!

Had lunch with my son in Barry's today after a busy morning in cork. The lunch menu comprises burgers, salads and sambos. I went for the Barry's speciality burger which was very tasty and came with tasty onion rings. The kids selection was good and very well priced. Nice atmosphere, quick service and good parking at the rear.
