Three of us ate at this lovely restaurant in Douglas...not far from Cork. I had the chicken with a cream mushroom sauce and lyonnaise potatoes. It was served with a bowl of fresh seasonal vegetables that were perfectly cooked. The other two had fish and chips..the portions were a good size and my hubby...being a Brit..is particular about his fish... More

Virtually every time I visit family in Cork I spend an evening here. Drinks in the bar first, then dinner in the restaurant. It is a lovely place, with very nice staff and consistently good food. I really wish we had something like it in our neighbourhood in London

Liked the food and space. Was really tasty, if a little refined for us. And slightly expensive, but staff were great.

Went for lunch .. Table was dirty. Ages to get served. Everything felt like gets someone's attention , order, wait and finally food it put in front of you. The food is ok . You eat, pay and leave. It's just a bar offering food. My response next time will be "do we have to go to Barry,s" ?

Excellent. I am allergic to dairy. I regularly eat here with confidence. Both the waiting staff and the kitchen ensure that my meals are dairy-free. The chef has even substituted dairy-free sauces and dressings on several occasions. Friendly and professional staff.

Had a lovely meal here. Ideal place for a drink or two before and after dinner, you can see a match on a big screen or have an intimate evening on the quite side of the bar. I had the pan fried fish cake to start which was nice and light with a lime crème fraiche. For the main I... More

Party of 2 looking for main meal with limited time. Very pleasant staff, courteous and professional. Busy Monday evening. Salmon with the trimmings very well presented and delightful for 2 cold hungry diners. Will be back
