Excellent. I am allergic to dairy. I regularly eat here with confidence. Both the waiting staff and the kitchen ensure that my meals are dairy-free. The chef has even substituted dairy-free sauces and dressings on several occasions. Friendly and professional staff.

Had a lovely meal here. Ideal place for a drink or two before and after dinner, you can see a match on a big screen or have an intimate evening on the quite side of the bar. I had the pan fried fish cake to start which was nice and light with a lime crème fraiche. For the main I... More

Family night out for a meal at short notice. Got a nice table by the front window. For starters, I had the king prawns, which where delicious and meaty. My wife had the jalapeño & cheese quenell, she found it delicious, but thought the sauce was a little to spicy (I agreed, after a small taste). My son had the... More

What can I say about this modest pub/restaurant. The chicken wings are amazing ! As is the main chicken breast dish. I love this place ! Keeps the same standards over and over ! Perfection. Well Done !

We were a party of three (which included our 10 year old) who recently visited Cork and ate in Barrys. It is a lovely clean restaurant with very friendly and professional waiting staff. The tables are well spaced out meaning you are not inadvertently eavesdropping on your neighbours and you have plenty of elbow room. The rest rooms were spotless.... More

We ate here on a rare night out with friends that had been raving about it. Firstly I will point out the positives. The restaurant is fabulous and modern looking. Service staff are attentive and helpful. That's about it with the positives. Our friends pointed out the menu had changed and dishes they'd been telling about we're no longer on... More

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your recent meal in Barry's. We have indeed changed our a la carte menu recently and we have also introduced a new bar menu which is available until 8pm nightly. There is a much larger choice to choose from and most dishes are proving very popular.... More

The southern fried chicken burger was probably one of the best burgers we have eaten in a restaurant. Chicken was tender and all accompaniments very tasty. Service was excellent also. Would definitely be back again!
