Going there now for lunch

Great value - good range of very reasonable price dishes - don't forget Ballincollig branch too. New menu but I will stick to Yellow Curry

I got a take away of Fried Chilly & Basil Stir fry with Beef plus Brown Rice. Firstly the waiter in the restaurant was really friendly. The portion size of the take away was really good & I was well impressed they actually had Brown Rice. FYI - The desserts looked really too.

Banna Thai is probably the best Thai restaurant in Cork in my opinion! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The food is always consistently tasty, fresh, hot, well presented and generously portioned. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. And they have these quirky little glasses ! well worth a visit either for... More

Having never tried Thai food I was very happy with the choices available and the experience of the staff to help me with choosing my food! Everything from the starter to the meal was amazing! I didn't have a dessert , but I was tempted as they were homemade! X

Lots of veggie options. The good was very nice! And I think there was wholegrain rice which is always good, not sure if that's correct though I could be wrong. Good service and child friendly. :)

Wanted to try a different cuisine and had heard about this place from work colleagues. Like in other reviews the restaurant is situated in a very secluded side road. The ambiance is not very great. BUT the food really tasted great. Well presented and the kids loved it too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw that they... More

Passing through Cork briefly & being a bit of a fan of Thai cuisine, this place had been mentioned to us. Altho we were rather rushed the green curry with prawns (with all sorts of artistic carrot embellishments!) was perfection & the staff were friendly.

If you are happy with good food and v nice friendly staff then I would recommend this highly. However, I do like a bit of ambience when I dine out, this was more like a fast food Thai! The decor is dreadful. I had a fabulous red curry, the waiters were top class, but I couldn't wait to get out... More

Main course portion is generous and the food is really nice. I had a vegetarian Thai yellow curry with coconut and egg fried rice, plus spring rolls as starter. Could not make it for the dessert. Coffee was not that good but we did not go there to drink coffee :) waiter extremely kind and careful. Will definitely recommend it.

First time of our visit. We had Thai fry noodles & chicken red curry with boiled rice. Lunch deal cost €9.95/per meal with free a pot of tea or coffee. It's pretty reasonable. And the staffs are polite with smiling and welcome. It's really nice. Red curry with good flavour as we tasted in Asia. And it's as mild spicy... More
