I went for dinner with a group of friends this week and we all had a fantastic meal. There was plenty of options on the menu and the specials had a great few options on it also as a few of my friends opted for the specials burgers. The burgers were very tastily flavoured and the portion s were great... More

We went here on an off hour during the week, so we weren't concerned when the restaurant was empty. Like, really empty. We were taken care of quite quickly, and I believe it was the manager or owner serving us, and he was very friendly. The food was really good - my only complaint was that my lunch special burger... We were going to go to the French restaurant down the street on our first and only night in Cork, but spotted this place instead. Being from the US, we weren't that keen on eating burgers while we were in Ireland, but the burgers and other menu items looked so good we couldn't pass it up. Hubby had the Vampire... More

We had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. We were lucky that we had booked a table as by 7.30pm they were turning people away. It is a nice cosy restaurant, well staffed giving excellent service. It is only a five minute walk to Patricks street so very convenient to town and also to the theatre and bars on... More

I went here recently with my two daughters before a visit to the Everyman Theatre and what a disappointment from my previous visit. The food took ages to come even though I explained that we were in a slight rush for the theatre. My two daughters burgers were overlooked - burnt at the edges and they couldn't eat them. My... More

Excellent food. Excellent value. Have been here many times and will definitely return. You will not get a better burger in all of Ireland. Friendly staff and owner.

Had dinner in Gourmet Bistro again while in town on a Sunday night with friends. I have been here before and was happy to go back & was surprised to see that it was opened until 9pm, but we didn't need to have any booking & they were happy to fit us in. I really like this bistro there is... More

I have been here for dinner 3 times on this trip to Cork. My daughter loves the burgers - always a unique burger special presented and I love the vegetarian options. The staff is pleasant and efficient. They also serve good wine, along with all kinds of brews.
