Lunchtime stop

Fairly busy cafe, was ushered to a room at the back which looked less desirable than in the front. I noticed a picture of the First Minister and his wife and was told that they visited a few weeks ago! If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me! The seafood chowder was superb.

Get dressed smart and spoil yourself. Beautiful venue, fresh and bright. Its such lovely place to do lunch. Great menu choice from sandwiches to cakes. We just stopped for coffee and cake. The cakes are to die for. We couldnt eat for hours after our visit. I cant wait to try the lunch menu

Had an amazing lunch in Nash's last Friday. The Tasting Plate we had as a starter was amazing, 8 different dishes to try and enjoy. My two guests had never been before but will definitely return the next time they are in Cork. As always the staff were so accommodating and full of info about the menu. The quality of... More

I visited Nash 19 for my second time this year on Tuesday. It has been renovated after floods and looks very clean and modern. The food presentation was fantastic and the staff very well informed. I had a poached fish salad and it was fantastic and great value for €13. The staff are fantastic and very well trained. They check... More

Nice decor, good menu, but it's patently obvious sales are to be maximised. Went for lunch - "You'll have a glass of wine" -an assumption rather than an enquiry. For us wine at lunch on a working day isn't a consideration. Then having ordered from the main lunch menu the push was "Will you have a cup of soup to... More

Great location, went in here on Saturday morning with my 8 week old son and buggy the staff were so helpful seating us and they delivered our coffee to our seats and informed us of their baby changing area. Staff also go around and top up your coffee which is great

I love the food and the service here but i find the owner hit and miss. Sometimes a smile which i dont think is genuine and other times just blanks you. she walks around the restaurant when busy watching tables. My friend had her bag on the chair beside us and she asked her to remove it as we will... More

This is a Cork treasure , open all hours ,through storm and flood , cheerfull, consistent and creative. Whether you are lucky enough to stay for a meal (or on the run as we were today) the dishes are always fresh , tasty and honest. Clair's ministrone with lamb was a classic Irish dish - perfect for a cold winters... More
