I love the food and the service here but i find the owner hit and miss. Sometimes a smile which i dont think is genuine and other times just blanks you. she walks around the restaurant when busy watching tables. My friend had her bag on the chair beside us and she asked her to remove it as we will... More

This is a Cork treasure , open all hours ,through storm and flood , cheerfull, consistent and creative. Whether you are lucky enough to stay for a meal (or on the run as we were today) the dishes are always fresh , tasty and honest. We wanted soup and a sandwich for lunch and were delighted with what we got. The bread was great and the fillings fresh and generous. The soup tasted like it was made in house. Service is friendly and the ambiance is good.

This is our second visit! There is no doubt that the food is good quality. We had breakfast, with all the related bits and pieces. The wholemeal bread was fantastic. The young waitress gave an excellent service. However, some of the food was cold and I just find it hard to understand that a professional establishment is not aware of... More
