We ate at Greenes for our wedding anniversary; the whole experience was top notch from start to finish. There are plenty of good chefs & restaurants in Cork, this one just has the right touch of finesse & attention to detail that makes you want to eat here ALL THE TIME. Waiting staff were knowledgeable friendly & efficient, we had... More

I stopped at Greene's because it happened to be close to the b&b that I stayed at. I was wonderfully surprised with the level of service, atmosphere, and food. Because the restaurant is tucked away it's easy to miss but if you do miss it, you'll miss a great meal.

we came here one evening just by coincidence as a colleague was staying close to this lovely restaurant - and we were just blown away by the quality of the food; especially for the great price (EUR 35 incl three drinks) and nice atmosphere :) would surely recommend anyone in cork to stop by.

Have eaten here a few times before and generally good. Ate there last night and although the food wasn't bad the choice was pretty limited and we waited a very long time indeed. The biggest let down was the service. They were all polite but inefficient. Drinks ordered didn't arrive, left waiting to order for extended periods, etc. it kind... More

Had been looking forward to eating here as missed out on doing so last year but service erratic and at times poor and food not as good as we'd expected.Without the waterfall at rear of premises think a lot less people would attend.Needs to up it's game as lots of good restaurant competition in Cork.

We had dinner at Greene's Restaurant during our recent short break in Cork City. The food was really excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the early bird menu which was actually available all evening. The décor of the dining room itself was very bland and uninviting - it felt like an old-fashioned hotel dining room... More

We were going to see the excellent Love, Peace and Robbery in the Everyman Theatre and booked dinner for 6.30pm. We explained to our waitress that we were under a little time pressure and she and the other staff involved(including the chef) all conspired to produce a superb 3 course meal to us and had us out the door in... Loved Greene's In MacCurtain St Cork. Great location up a cobbled alley, with outside tables beside a waterfall. Great menu and knowledgable staff and wonderful craft Stonewell Cider. Service was excellent and the starters were imaginative, some served on a slate. Mains were brilliant and good quality choice of vegetables. It was so friendly and relaxing, near a theatre, a...
