From the busy main road you may pass this one by as it is tucked away to the left hand side of Isaacs. Take a look down the passage way and head towards the waterfall. You will get a warm welcome from all the staff. The food was great and not expensive. They couldn't be nicer. The setting is... read more

My wife and I dined in Greene's Restaurant on Tuesday evening last before going to the theatre across the street. We were so glad that we did. We ordered off the early bird menu and were so impressed with both the choice and beautiful taste of the food. It was just so delicious in every way. Hats off to the... More

This Beautiful bar and restaurant was attached to our hotel ( Isacc's ) and although we didn't have dinner here we had drinks and breakfast. The bar and restaurant are beautiful with a lovely convivial atmosphere and the walls are covered with original and very beautiful paintings. The reason we didn't dine here was because it was a bit pricey... More

Had a splendid early bird meal here... Outstanding value for an early bird with excellent quality food, great variety. The service was great too, the waiting staff had really good knowledge of the menu and were so attentive and obliging. I would highly recommend greenes.

We went here for our children's birthdays. It was really great at night as we had a table looking at the waterfall. Such a unique feature in the middle of the city. The reception area was great and we enjoyed our bubbly there and they even had a cake for the kids (well young adults!). All in all a wonderful... More

This is a restaurant I cannot praise highly enough. I've lived in Cork for ten years but had never been before. I got a voucher along with my ticket for a show in the Everyman across the road for a pre theatre menu and decided to try it out. The warm welcome from the most charming staff was a good... More

This is a lovely restaurant with a wonderful reputation but unfortunately, this was not reflected in our evening overall. The food was nice, but nothing special. The staff are really friendly but we got the distinct impression that they were somewhat mismanaged, incorrect drink orders, overcharged on the bill, no water. It took an hour for our starters to arrive,... More

I arrived late in Cork and we had dinner with a group of people in this place. I have to say that the food was outstanding and I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very friendly and professional. I had a dish with lamb and it just melted in my mouth. If you are in Cork then you should... More

Firstly, all the positives I have to point out that the food was amazingly good, what I loved was that the food was largely allowed to speak for itself with perfect textures and flavours, and no one taste ever overpowering anything else. The food artistry was amazing, and made a really special meal even better. The food is by no... More

What a fabulous setting for Valentines. We were sat overlooking a cascading waterfall full of colour and lit by candles, stunning. Unfortunately that's where the fairytale ended for us. So enthused were we by the fantastic looking a la carte menu, with wonderful dishes on show that we asked if the tasting menu encompassed some of these dishes. It certainly... More
