Tasty food and friendly service

We wandered in on a recommendation. The place is decorated in a retro style, kind of like a 70's front room, but service was quick and friendly. Food was tasty, the chicken balti was just the right level of heat and served in a bucket, which was fun If you like a good curry in friendly... read more

We are not very big eaters and the food was tasty. The service was very good but the portion of the food was extremely small.

We had dinner here and enjoyed the food immensely! My husband had some wonderful heat in his dish and mine was medium and very good! The starter platter was very good as well! Service was quick and very attentive. We had a jug of water that always stayed full thanks to an attentive waitstaff. We would definitely go back! Restaurant... More

Food was excellent, and the restaurant had a very nice cosy atmosphere too it, I ordered the Tandoori Mixed Special which I couldn't eat all of (picture doesn't do it justice), and had a bit of a laugh when my food was brought out ,it set the smoke alarm off :) and the waitress was " ah don't worry, it... TL:DR - The place serve OK dishes but in very small portions that will leave you hungry after spending a lot. The long version: I love Indian cuisine, I was also in India for 13 months. I eat in those restaurants quite often, as I am vegan and usually this cuisine is very friendly for this matter. This place wasn't... More

I really loved Bombay Palace and was here at a graduation party. The food was lovely and beautifully presented in the little bucket thing you can see in the photos. The restaurant looks great as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Having lived in Ireland for two years, one of the biggest things I miss is a good Indian curry, like the hundreds I've enjoyed over many years in the UK. A weekend away from County Kerry staying in Cork City has cured my withdrawal symptoms! And this is due to finding the Bombay Palace! Really tasty food- every dish has... More
