I went with 3 friends Sunday night in this restaurant, and we ordered different dishes, I got Batika Chicken and Pilau Rice. It was ok but the Pilau Rice was so so, it is not the best cuisine I ever tasted in an indian restaurant. We ordered a St Emilion, french wine, unfortunately they were either out of stock or... More

I live in the U.K and have visited many restaurants of Indian cuisine, this remains the best I have had! The food is so more-ish, the staff are very polite and the whole ambient of the restaurant is so classy and relaxing! Will get a flight out to Cork just to eat here!

The Bombay Palace is one of only a few Indian restaurants in Cork, but the quality of the food was very good, we went early on a Saturday evening and chose the early bird option which was extremely good value with ample portions starter, main course, side dish (rice or Bread) complimentary Popadoms followed by tea or coffee. The restaurant... More

The food here never disappoints and service is quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and well presented but the seating is old and sagging. Also the toilets, although clean, really need to be updated and new tiles and fittings installed. Its a pity that some money is not spent here because it really could be a great restaurant.

This restaurant is a real gem in the city center. Great early bird deals and the main menu also has a great selection. Starters like the chicken pakora and onion bhaji are sublime and the vindaloo (if you like it very hot and spicy) is absolutely wonderful. I was in the restaurant when the previous reviewer from Birmingham ate there... More

Avoid Avoid Avoid. The chicken tikka is not home made. It is bought in, taken from a package in the fridge and warmed up. Mine was still cold and the chicken was hard. The onion bhaji is a deep fried mess and tastes awful. The main courses are not much better. Do not go to this restaurant.
