Delicious food!

Sublime vegetarian food. Truly high end. I do not think anyone would miss the meat. The tempura batter is Gluten free, what a treat! I had the deep fried summer squash flowers which are also GF and were delicious. Not inexpensive, but so delicious. Make a booking, as it is rather small and very... read more

Love, love, love this restaurant. Has been a family favourite for many years. Food and ambience never disappoint. The jewel in the Crown of Cork eateries.

I went to the restaurant yesterday evening with a friend. We had plans later in the evening so booked for 5.30pm. I was delighted to see the "pre-theatre menu" option. This was a set menu of three courses with multiple options in each course. You could chooses 2 courses for €23. I started with a beetroot salad and had a... More

I am still talking about my meal which i had last thursday night - we were a table of 2 sat in the middle of the restaurant, im a vegetarian but my dining companion was not. From the moment we walked in the door - i knew it was going to be special. We were greeted so warmly and genuine... More

I am a carnivore so when I say the food here is fantastic - it's really saying something. The attention to detail is impressive with amazing flavours. Service is also excellent. You normally need to book in advance.

It was a great experience for my wife's birthday. The dishes are delicious and the service was perfect (they did not forget the candle on the dessert, did not forget to write my wife's name on the cake). Be sure to book before! For the prices, 2 courses are 33 euros, 3 courses 40 euros. A glass of wine is... More

Vegetarian dishes of stunning quality and originality. However the room is a bit noisy and the kitchen slow. Prices are high, but the quality supports them.

I started to write the title "fabulous vegetarian restaurant" and decided to miss out the word vegetarian. This is simply a fabulous restaurant and, from my point of view (I am not a vegetarian) the fact that the food is vegetarian was irrelevant. The range of choices was good; the food was creative, delicious and beautifully presented. Service was efficient,... More

This was the nearest restaurant to my accommodation and I arrived solo without a reservation and no expectations. Despite it being a heavily booked Thursday evening they fitted me in. And what a surprise I was in for. Exceptional menu with beautifully presented creative dishes. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

I'm not a vegetarian but I must say that one of the nicest, most enjoyable meals I ever had was in this restaurant. Really interesting menu, and the service was top notch also. My girlfriend (who is a vegetarian) was raving about the place also. A bit on the pricey side but it certainly is fine dining. I'd happily become... More
