See my review for this place as Accomodation for more information! In short, don't be put off if you are a carnivore, this is vegetarian food as you've never seen or tasted it before. Worth a jaunt to Cork City! Stop here on your way to nicer areas of the county!

I'm not a vegetarian but thought this would be fun to experience. Our friends said suspend any negativity and give it a try. Well it was a great surprise and a truly wonderful experience. If all vegetarian food was this good I would convert, haha. We had a superb meal and a very pleasant eating experience.

This is an incredibly innovative and adventurous culinary experience, taking you outside of your comfort zones - even the wine list is unrecognisable. But fortune favours the brave and your every step is rewarded as you step into the unknown. Looking at the menu, you suddenly realise how much you depend on a central animal protein. How boring you have... More

Excellent quality and selection of vegetarian food. Love to visit this place. House beer is good as well. Nice outdoor tables for sunny days (ha-ha)

Cork is a long way away if you are from Donegal and worse if you have emigrated to Canada and then to Barcelona in the last 10 years. I finally had a chance to visit Cork this summer and seized the opportunity to visit tho legendary place. We walked from the city centre to Cafe Paradiso and found it very... More

Booked late and took an early time slot to eat here (5:30 I recall). Food is really interesting, all dishes from starters through to desserts are inspirational, using fresh vegetarian ingredients in unusual ways, a surprising fun meal and easily the best we had around Cork. I recommend you book early, and take whatever time slot you can get. You... More

We went to cafe Paradiso for our first wedding anniversary. Firstly i have to say i am a big meat eater. We arrived the place is small and maybe a little cramped but still a very nice setting and atmosphere. We got the menu and looked at it. My wife who is pregnant looked at the menu and was a... More

Let me say firstly that the food was very expensive. 5 of us had dinner, we had 3 starters, 5 mains, 4 desserts, 1 side, 2 bottles of wine, 2 small glasses of wine, 2 coffees and 1 soft drink. If you're eating on a budget, this is absolutely not the place for you. If you're keen to try some... More
