Delicious food - the chef knows how to cook fish!

Stopped by Ennis at the weekend for some food. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I had the scampi to start which was lovely and juicy and perfectly cooked. The fresh hake was amazing - a nice chunky portion and cooked to perfection. So often fish is overcooked and dried... read more

I went here on a Friday night with my boyfriend. WS expecting this place to be classy and unusual although was just mediocre. Food was nothing to write home about. Starters very small and main course was just average . Haven't went here since and don't think I would again. Very old fashioned and needs a update

Lunches are reasonable at around €10. Beautifully cooked salmon. Prices for Evening meals rise quite a bit, but are gorgeous. I didn't like the sound of brown bread ice cream for desert but it was outstanding! Service - nothing to complain about but not memorable either..

Went with my grandkids ... Five of us. We had a nice bottle of wine and a fixed price three course dinner. HIGHLY recommend the seafood chowder starter, any main, and the chocolate cake which takes 11 to 14 minutes to make. You will believe you are in heaven! Great staff and attentive to visitors needs.

Probably the best restaurant in Ennis. I was here for a friends dinner on a busy Saturday night, great service, the food was delicious, and great atmosphere. A must visit if you want a nice meal in Ennis.

My brother and I went here on a recommendation from a local tea shop. We hadn't made a reservation but they were very friendly and found us a table in about 15 minutes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, but the food and service set it apart. The staff were always present when needed but otherwise let us have... More

I love the Town Hall Cafe. On our recent visit to Ireland, I wanted to stay at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis and dine at Town Hall Cafe once again. But when checking in at the hotel, I was told the restaurant was totally booked for that evening. Nonetheless, we stopped at the restaurant early in the evening to... More
