From the minute we walked in we were met so warmly and with a bit of banter, which is lovely and straight away the mood was set... The service was on point and so efficient and each person that served us was truly friendly.. The food was outstanding, full 3 course meal and we left content in the thoughts that... More

This is a quite expensive restaurant, however it is fair as the food is excellent! The early bird already costs €25 for a three-course. I had smoke salmon pate, quite original. The bread selection is also excellent. The sea bass was perfect. My mistake was for eating too much bread, so I was so full that I couldn't eat the... More

I've been back to the town hall a few times and it's never disappointed. Great traditional food for reasonable prices, I was pleasantly surprised when I first tasted the freshness and quality of the food. A must cost if you're ever in Ennis,

Fabulous yummy good value food. Each course was more delicious then the next. We had lamb chops for mains which was soft and succulent. The selection of deserts was great. All in all it was a good value and quality3 course meal

Have been here before, and searched it out again. Lovely old location, great ambience, really nice setting just inside front door... Table heaving with home baking.. Had soup of the day...delicious! Hubby had the chowder, and Was disappointed as tasted more of cream than fish. Staff good and helpful.

While staying at The Old Ground Hotel I had dinner in the Town Hall. We were greeted by very helpful and happy staff! We were given a wonderful window seat looking out onto the street. I had an amazing steak dinner with all the trimmings you could ask for. The size of the steak was amazing and it was cooked... More

This restaurant is so charming that it beckons one to enter....it's hard to pass by. Candelabras on the tables, cozy corners and sumptuous food. A must visit if in Ennis.
