Eight do Vegan in Clare

Clare Vegans group organised a dinner here last Saturday, April 18 2015. It was fabulous. We had a three course meal which was very reasonable. A choice of three starters and mains then with a dessert which consisted of a gorgeous sorbet, pineapple in a star anise syrup and a baked, stuffed apple... read more

After a week of traveling, our last night was spent in Ennis. We had so many wonderful meals and wanted to make sure our last night lived up to them. A local recommended this restaurant, but when we arrived around 8:20, upon hearing that we did not have a reservation, the hostess, Mary, said perhaps we could check back in... More

Excellent food served quickly, with a great attention to our requirements. Our waitress Paulina was outstanding making sure everything was first class, nothing was too much. Great atmosphere topped off by a wonderful collection of musicians playing in the adjacent bar. Great evening in Ennis!

It has a great atmosphere almost continental. Food was really good medallions off beef with mushroom risotto was delious. Girlfriend hake was under done for her but the waitress spotted that she didn't look happy and immediately took it back and had it cooked a bit more which was great. Nice bar with a bit craic agus coel what more... More

Ennis has trouble supporting really great restaurants and so I really hope the town hall keeps its current excellent standards and service. I had a really fantastic lamb dish which was conceptually great, beautifully presented and executed. The starter selection is a genuine challenge as there are too many great choices and the wine list is small but well chosen... More

We love to frequent the OG! My parents always insist on a visit when they come to Ennis. On This occasion they missed out as I was taking my husband to The Town hall part of the hotel for a birthday treat! Our meal was scrumptious and the service was A1! Having overheard that it was a birthday the staff... More

From the time we were swept thru the door, the staff were friendly and attentive. The breads were warm and fresh and the flavour amazing. We had the white mushroom soup as a taster that really hit the spot. The main course was tasty and filling.

Shared a beautiful meal with our family in this restaurant recently. It’s our favourite place when you’re looking for an extra special meal for an occasion. And once more it impressed all round. Delicious variety of options all cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. And we would like to thank the staff for the beautifully presented deserts for our birthday... More

I went here on a Friday night with my boyfriend. WS expecting this place to be classy and unusual although was just mediocre. Food was nothing to write home about. Starters very small and main course was just average . Haven't went here since and don't think I would again. Very old fashioned and needs a update

Stopped by Ennis at the weekend for some food. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I had the scampi to start which was lovely and juicy and perfectly cooked. The fresh hake was amazing - a nice chunky portion and cooked to perfection. So often fish is overcooked and dried out but this was not the... More
