Best place in Ennis!! Never disappoints, you get great food & excellent value for money! I would highly recommend the Poets Corner. If I could make 1 small suggestion it would be to change the side salad that comes with some dishes-it takes from the beautiful look of the food! Service is also always fantastic-staff are super friendly & helpful.... More

Recently visited Ennis for one night, walked the streets (a Monday evening), the whole place was deserted and couldn't find anywhere that looked inviting to stop and have dinner. Then we stumbled across Poet's Corner, opened the door and it appeared that everyone in town was inside, warm, lively and welcoming. Great food, with a lovely young waitress who was... More

The Poets Corner is a very good place for a meal. I have eaten here several times and always have had a good meal. Its one of my favourite places to bring visitors and does not dissappoint.

This is a great place to go for a quick lunch or even dinner. The food is always good and service is quick. I live locally so I am very lucky to be able to dine here fairly often. You will meet a lot of locals here which says a lot about the food. If the place is full there... More

We had to wait for a table bit it was well worth it. I had a burger and it was so full of flavour really moorish. My husband had a sea food platter fab so fresh and great selection of different fish. Dessert was a masterpiece beautiful panna cotta. Would come back here again and again

I often eat here when I'm in Ennis. The staff are really efficient; the menu is wide-ranging without being too ambitious, the meat is locally sourced....oh, and it's good value. If you go for late lunch (after 2.30pm) there is a larger menu and a more relaxed atmosphere. It can be difficult to get a seat, but is worth flagging... More

We ate and drank here while staying at the Old Ground hotel. This pub was filled with many locals, and some hotel guests. It was hopping! The food was REALLY good, and I felt slightly better than your average pub both in quality and presentation. The service was also great, and the atmosphere really fun! Check it out! Prices were... It was our last night in Ireland and we'd had lovely meals in many pubs and this one was very, very good as well. Service was excellent and the local, traditional music was great.
