Ted's deserves the high ratings it gets, but the long lines, long wait times, and crowded/confusing ordering process detracts from the experience. I suspect if one timed their visit accordingly, the experience would be much more pleasant. The food is good, but be warned that the crowds are hungry, rude, and impatient.

Like most things on the road round the north shore not well sign posted and hard to spot but worth stopping. Really nice sticky buns. There is not many options for food on this part of the coast so nice to find this one.

I stayed about 20 minutes from teds for 7 days and 6 of those days I had a piece of pie. Staying in a house with lots of family we decided to get a few different pies and out of the 5 we tried all of them were great. We even ate lunch there the first day we visited teds... More

We were staying in a condo for a week, so when I saw a Ted's Macadamia Cream Pie while stocking up on supplies at Sack-N-Sav I luckily decided to add it to the cart. We shared a slice of that pie every night while watching the sunset on our lanai and I already miss it now that we're back home.... More

Don't miss this place. We stayed at Turtle Bay Resort and made the 5-minute drive to Ted's every day! Not only better value than breakfast at the resort but the best food around! Buy breakfast at Ted's and drive 1-minute down the road to eat at Sunset Beach. Beautiful!

When I visited the North Shore in the summer of 2013 I looked around while driving thinking this Ted's Bakery would jump out at me and scream BAKERY! Well, I realized I had driven past this BAKERY many times and never realized it was THE Ted's, Well, I went twice this week, once to get a huge selection of pastries... More

The concierge desk at the Turtle Bay Resort, where we were staying, recommended this eatery as one of the places to go away from the resort. We drove on Kamehameha highway, a two lane road in front of the resort, for about five miles west to get to Ted's Bakery. This place is a real bakery that specializes in making... More

Ted's is conveniently located in Sunset Beach, between the Turtle Bay Condos and Haleiwa. The food is excellent, including the baked goods we bought. We would order our food to go and sit under the trees next to the main building. Eating there was very relaxing and the service was accommodating and usually quick. Can't wait to go back!
