Great value, worth the drive.

Every time we go to North Shore, we stop at Ted's for lunch. Great plate lunches at good values. And oh did you know, they're famous for their pies! Except I'm always too full for desert.

We ate here based on the reviews. Both of us ordered a plate lunch, but be with ribs and chicken and the other with just ribs. Both came with the traditional two scoops of rice and potato salad. All the food was average. We even had their chocolate coconut that they are famous for and wasn't impressed by that either.... More

When traveling, I prefer to eat local, and Ted's did not disappoint. I ordered a Mix Plate with teri beef, shoyu chicken, and chicken katsu..all of which were foreign to me. The price was a little high, but the portions are quite large and since I was able to eat the meal over a 3 day period, the price was... More

I am woefully unimpressed with Ted's. The plate lunches here are overpriced, bland, and even made me sick. I had the Loco moco and it was just not good. I didn't finish it. Everything on the plate was incredibly bland and the gravy tasted like it came from a can. I should not have overlooked the dirty surroundings because of... More

We were directed to Ted's Bakery by a local when looking for breakfast and thought we could get muffins etc. when we got there it is a little hole in the wall place where you can order a full breakfast. My husband and I ordered ham and cheese omelettes which came with choice of home fried potatoes or rice. There... More

We stayed at an airbnb place 1/4 of a mile down the road from Ted's so we may have been there more than once. The chocolate haupia and the banana cream pie are very good but I will say that my favorite was the garlic shrimp. It was the best shrimp we tried on the island overall and it was... More

We LOVE Ted's!!! Their baked goods are delicious and their pies are out of this world!!! The chocolate haupia pie is absolutely to die for!! They also do their plate lunches very well. The food is well cooked and the servings are HUGE. Over the years it has gotten increasingly more crowded and the service has slowed dramatically. This last... More

The food here is amazing. The hamburgers were wonderful and the bun is so soft. This place can be busy so don't be in a hurry. The pie is a must have. I loved the pineapple pie!

We ate here a couple mornings for breakfast. Right down the road from Turtle Bay and near many beaches. They have wonderful pastries! Definitely recommend.
