Yum!

This was a surprise - we had heard how great this place was - and we weren't disappointed. The place is unusual - a run down shed on the side of the road - but so worth the stop! The Haupia pie is divine - and the pineapple pie is one of the nicest things I have ever tasted! Well... read more

Read about Teds when I was researching land marks on the north shore. We had to try the pie so we stopped in for breakfast. You could tell instantly that this is a place that the locals frequent so we checked out what a few were ordering and did the same. We were served a huge amount of food I... More

We were so hungry after our flight and on the way to Turtle Bay, stopped by this little place that was so very crowded! They were out of fried potatoes to go with our omelets and substituted the fried rice. I am so glad they did! AWESOME!!!! I would go back just for the fried rice. Don't let the crowd... More

Great little bakery in the middle of nowhere. The North Shore is hopping all winter long on weekends and even big surf weekdays. Anytime the family hit the north Shore we stopped in for pie/baked goodies. The chocolate haupia pie is awesome, anyone who denies has issues with chocolate. Very convenient to see big wave action either Sunset or Pipeline,... More

We were driving up the coast and saw Ted's Bakery, so glad we stopped. We had the Mahi Mahi which was great, you have to try the Chocolate Haupia Cream pie, it's their specialty and worth the calories. Ted's is in no way a gourmet restaurant, but a great local spot.

Never over-crowded, but we know why there is a steady stream of people here!! rule of thumb: follow the locals and you'll eat the best. Paid off here, for sure!! The food is made fresh daily, cinnamon rolls were gigantic, and the omelettes were truly yummy (and big enough for two). Good price, great spot, and even better food. Don't... More

Pastries looked old and uninviting. Menu is standard diner fare - nothing exceptional. Several years ago when I ate here it was MUCH better. Not inexpensive for what you get. I guess that's what happens when you live on your reputation.

The selection at this bakery was great. Everything looked and smelled delicious. We bought a couple different items and they both were delicious.

This is our 2nd time at Ted's and it's wonderful! A beautiful drive up the coast, wonderful beaches along the way and fresh food waiting for you at the end of the drive. The garlic shrimp is the bomb and the bakery is excellent!
