Now don't take the three stars the wrong way. This place is not something to avoid, it is quite lovely. But it is also very simple, nothing too fancy, so I can't go raving about it either. It is a cute wee teashop, frequented by a few locals and run by chatty women. The food is quite decent, and very... More

I visit Linlithgow a couple of times a week at the moment and have visited here before 9.00 am. for my coffee. I have always been served with a cheery smile even though they were not open yet! How is that for service. And the coffee is delicious.

Lovely old fashioned cafe for pot of tea and a tea cake, very reasonably priced, friendly old fashioned service. If you visit Linlithgow Palace, this is just outside the front gates. Do not miss, an excellent old fashioned tea shop.

Not the fanciest coffee shop in the town but it does what it does very well. Very reasonable, good service and great menu. Always busy which says it all.

Downtown near the city hall. Good service and a distinctly local place. Close to Linlithgow Palace. We basically stopped for coffee after visiting the Palace.

Situated right in the centre of the town, this is a great little tea shop for hot or cold snacks or a light lunch. The menu is limited enabling food to be produced very swiftly. It is fair to say that seating is a bit tight but that tends to create a cosy atmosphere. The staff are efficient and very... More

What a lovely, friendly cafe. Found it on our first day. Try their toasted tea cakes spread with generous amount of butter instead of the usual "scrape" washed down with tea/coffee. Tempting choice of goodies, all served with a smile. Made it our last viisit before heading home, happy memories of a great week in a lovely, clean, litter-free friendly... More

Popped in for a cup of tea and felt I had been invited into someones home. (The friendliness of the staff was very welcoming. )The care and ambience I found was of the standard you desire but thought had gone for ever. A lovely warm atmosphere - tea lovely. 'A family environment.' The hostess was the sort of person that... More
