Cold in Restaurant & Food was Average

The food used to be beautiful in this restaurant but I didn't enjoy any of my meal at all this time. It was very cold in there so we cancelled our table for the following night and ate in the bar restaurant. Unfortunately I got food poisoning with the fish so won't be eating at all there anymore.

I use this restaurant mainly to lunch with clients. I have eaten there perhaps 8 or 9 times. At a wedding I attended last year, the organisation, food, service and accommodation were definitely 5 star. As far as lunch is concerned, firstly, the staff have always been efficient, welcoming and respectful. The menu is rather predictable, however the food has... More

I have eaten here on several occasions in the past with positive experience. This time however, my experience was not good. A simple chicken burger was what my friend and I ordered once we managed to grab some attention. Presentation was lovely, and a nice thick piece of fresh chicken was sticking out of the bun. However, it was dry... More

Perfectly cooked food. Great service from friendly staff. Table D'Hote menu was extremely limited and didn't change on the second night of our stay.

I have used this place several times at different times of the day, I usually pop in for a drink or a coffee. I had a bar lunch, once, thanks but no thanks. I think the problem is that the hotel was originally built to serve the relatives of the adjacent hospital. it is therefore not a conventional hotel. These... More

The ambience was lovely and the service excellent. This was an informal dinner but the room was still set out beautifully with a size of table which enabled good chat and banter!

The restaurant, overlooking the river Clyde and the occasional boat sailing by, serves the Beardmore Hotel in Dalmuir. It is part of the same complex as the Jubilee hospital. My visits have mainly been with ladies who lunch and occasionally for afternoon tea. It has an extensive lunch menu offering substantial portions for each dish. Even the sandwiches are generous.... Good food and excellent service. Filet was coked to perfection and I would certainly eat here again. Main negative is there is a fairly limited choice
