Friendly staff, food average

The member of staff that looked after us was very good, and food average (chicken breast on the menu, yet looked like reformed chicken!) can't really complain about the quality when the meals are cheap. The saving grace was definitely the woman that looked after us. But unlikely to return.

We all visited last night about 7 oclock and the waitdress at the bar had a stinking attitude and the food and service was just shocking, every plate was completely full with food because things weren't the way we asked for the eight of us will never be back here as i would not waste a single penny here again

Went into this establishment for a quick evening meal and we were very happy with the service and quality of food we received. We will def consider using this venue again.

Came here tonight for a meal with my boyfriend, the menu seemed really nice. when we got in the advertised steak&gravy pie on the menu on the website wasn't on the actual menu, so we asked if they still done it to then be told they had ran out & they had actually run out of most things on the... Revisited. Carvery on a Sunday. Terrible. The veg were overcooked and reheated. The salad bar is not on anymore, the manager says instructions from up high? The tomatoe soup was just coloured water.will not return for another carvery!

Just left this restaurant today ,my mother in law ordered sirloin steak when it arrived it looked more like stew .. Also had the texture as tough stew .. She left more than half the steak and was offered a dessert as compensation. .. Fine ... However en route home she was violent D&V in the car! Totally poisoned ..... More

went for family dinner just after New Year. To be honest food was nothing special. Stopped going here a few years ago as it had went downhill and thought it surely had improved. However, we were disappointed. Hubby ordered mixed grill and his piece of gammon looked as though it had been cooked for hours on end and it wouldn't... More

Have stayed here twice now. Never had any issues. Well apart from the Christmas period where kids where running up and down the corridor at 11.30 at night and banging doors. This issue was dealt with quickly though just a quick call to reception. Room is clean and food was lovely. Would recommend this hotel.
