We visited on a Saturday night, the place was busy and we had wait in the lounge. We were offered drinks by a young girl, we then waited 10-15 minutes to be seated which was fine. We moved to a table where we waited 20 minutes until we had to ask for menus and waited longer for the drinks. We... More

We stopped in the "Taj" after golfing for the day, as we'd passed it many times. It looked busy. Too busy. Never before have I had such nice, young device attendants that were clueless as to their job. Never before have I seen such a kind, young attractive waitress so overwhelmed. The food wasn't bad, it just looked all the... More

Ordered a takeaway on a busy Saturday night, what a mistake, food appeared to be rushed out, pakora as dry as old socks, with some suspect looking jelly bits within, all pakora and very little chicken within.Main course was bland and tasteless, spiced onions overly spicy, best part of the whole meal......The poppadoms.I used this restaurant against my better judgement as I had heard numerous people telling... Having already had a very poor Indian buffet at this restaurant and also late night takeaways that were overcooked, I decided to give the Taj one final try on a Saturday night for a takeaway. I ordered chicken pakora and Chicken korma with rice and nan. Yet again the pakora was overcooked and dry with very small bits of overcooked... More

I have been coming to the taj since I was little and it has always been brilliant. I moved to Australia 10 years ago and had to come back for dinner on my first trip home. It's as delicious as I remember! The staff are friendly and lovely and will offer great advice on what sort of food you may... More

My wife and I went for lunch today, the staff were so friendly and helpful with the menu as always. We had onion bhaji, jat paat, Punjabi masala and dopiaza. The starters were filled with flavour. The spiced onions and poppadoms that come when you arrive were perfect too. The curry's were medleys of spices and flavours, and everything is... More
