We had dinner at Martins Bar & Grill when we stayed one night at the Fairfield House Hotel. Had the curry and were delighted. Really yummy! Staff was very nice as well.

Wow, just back from a one night stay in the Fairfield Hotel. We ate in the Martins bar & grill as part of a DBB deal through hotel. We had steaks (fillet) which were cooked to perfection of our preferences. Absolutely scrumptious. Good wine menu too. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ayr.

Prices seem high and quality is middle of the oroad, although service is excellent. Cost of alcohol was reasonable here.

Fantastic service, great food and superb views. We had a fish supper, which went down very well indeed, whilst watching the sunset over Arran - what more could you ask for ?!

Actually the third time my wife and I have eaten here and this was the best ever, literally the best meal we have had in Ayr! The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive both in the bar and the restaurant. Well done, look forward to coming back on our next trip to Ayr.
