Visited the Kylestrome last with my wife for our wedding anniversary. Good food and again great service. Every part of our meal was served within a reasonable time and drinks were always hand. The table staff were very attentive and pleasent. We will return soon.

Table booked for 1pm, arrived just before this. Shown to our table and given menus, ordered drinks at this time. Even though not that busy and our menus lying on table - an obvious sign of being ready to order had to wait a while before somebody took our order. When giving order waitress asked if we would like kids... More

We visited on a Thursday night during the Commonwealth games expecting Ayr to be really busy, we had not booked but had no problem getting a nice window table at 19:00. We cannot fault the food or the service. We had two courses and wine and it was all delicious (try the scallops, the haggis bites, the tempura fish and... More

The menu was very good and offered a good range within a reasonable price range. The restaurant was very busy which is always a sign of a good place. Overall I would thoroughly recommend... More

Visited recently with family who were down from Edinburgh. From starter to dessert, the food was fantastic, I have never had a Caesar salad as good before. The main thing for me was the service, the staff were all very friendly, and no request was any trouble. Will definitely be back!

2nd visit and again impressed with the all round experience. Great setting, great service and great food. All made the more impressive given their was a sizeable wedding at the same time as we ate in the restaurant. Had langoustine and avocado for starters and fillet steak for main. Langoustine were plump and cooked well, beautifully presented with the avocado.... More
