Stopped in for a curry with the family and in-laws and was really impressed, we opted for the banquet and after clarifying what our tastes were the waiter then produced a superb array of dishes that suited everyone from fussy children through to gastronomically adventurous adults and all at a very fair price. Staff were friendly and attentive and food... More

We were up from England working in Ayr. We didn't know the area but fancied a curry and made the right choice. It was Monday night so was quiet. The staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful and more importantly the food was superb. A must visit if in the area

Went on recommendation of our hosts in Ayr. Lovely, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Decor great. Staff happy to advise based on your preferences and they got it right for me. I only like mild Indians and get a little bored with Korma and Passanda so they suggested Kaghani- shame my local doesn't do this as it was delicious. My... More

The good lady had a garlic chile chicken which she enjoyed. I opted for the "staff Curry" which was Lamb or that was what they said it was. It was a tasty sauce but the meat was nothing like Lamb. I cleaned some up and tried it without sauce. The colour, coarse grain and taste was more like a cheap... More

Visiting Ayr for the recent airshow and spotted this restaurant. So gave it a try. We ordered the lamb kaghani plus a chicken tikka prawn masala along with the Ayrshire potatoes. All were new dishes to us and were absolutely delicious! ! The rice too with chick peas and sultanas was excellent. We both were highly delighted with the food.... More

Tried this restaurant on recent visit to Ayr, both the main courses were pretty bland and chicken was marinated in red colouring, can't understand why they do that, as it looks awful. Wine prices are way overpriced: Australian wine £22 a bottle or cheaper ones at £20, I think they must have been flewn in by private aircraft at that... More

Popped in with friends for a quick meal. We had the banquet, and a banquet it was. Lots of different starters to try, so if you're not keen on something there's plenty other things to eat. Not that we didn't like anything. It was all fab. The main dishes were delicious. Lots of rice and bread on the side. And... More

12 of us arrived late last Wednesday after a show at the Gaiety. It is situated not far away, so an easy walk for us. The staff were attentive and accomodating and did not rush us at all. The food was exceptionally tasty and beautifully prepared. I had the paneer karahi and can recommend it. All in all I will... More
