We eat here 2 to 3 times a month and love it. Tom yum soup with chicken and Thai green chicken curry are my favourites. The hot and spicy salad starters are great too.

I have been coming here for years, food is great, tasty and staff lovely. They do a great pre-theatre at great value. I can't fault a thing! Just go, you will love it!

Delicious and authentic 5 starThai food, with friendly and attentive staff. The Goulongang (sp?) soup is a spicy treat and a meal in itself. The Banana fritters (toasted coconut batter) are the best I have ever tasted. The 'ambience' could have been better, but as we were only two of 4 persons in the restaurant this is perhaps understandable. This... More

There's something lovely about Thai restaurants ..... the service has a kind of polite deference along with enough friendly familiarity to make for a comfortable eating-experience ..... Generally a share-and-taste trio, we lurched into a bit of a 'touch my food, feel my fork!' scenario as we all really loved our choices ....... for starters I had vegetable spring rolls... More

Myself & my family visit Thai Sam normally on a special occasion as depending on what your eating, it can be quite pricey but I must say it's worth every penny. The food is always fresh, hot & tasty. We have never had anything from the menu that we haven't enjoyed and as we love Thai food, this restaurant is... More

In the new Thai Siam location off Incle Street, Lawn Street, the quality of the food seems to have gone downhill. It's almost like the restaurant is catering for a different class of customer. In its previous location there were authentic carved vegetables served and the food was more authentically Thai. I have travelled a lot in Thailand and tasted... More

Good food in a nice environment with a varied menu. The staff are friendly and do not rush you. The set Menu even on a Saturday night is good value.

But the ingredients should have been fresher. The tom kha soup was delicious. The tiger prawns didn't all taste uniformly good. It was so hot it made me wonder if it had come from a microwave. The chilli hot levels felt authentic. Both the soup and the main were nice and spicy but had a bit too much added sugar.... More

We dined early evening and opted for the pre theatre menu. This had good selection of starters and mains. Food was very tasty and service was attentive. The decor could do with brightening up.
