At the price charged the meal had to be good -and it was. From the choice of gins offered as our aperitif, to the the coffee and petits fours, the dinner lived up to expectations. The meal, perfect scallops tasty beef , and crunchy puddings -the pistachio crumb- left us very well satisfied both in value and stomach! Full marks... More

We stayed here for two nights and had dinner both nights. The staff where friendly and efficient. We used the free bus to the theatre which was great you could have a few drinks with an early dinner and be driven there and back. Rooms were spacious and well decorated. Nice wine selection as well...

As we could not be seated till 7:30 because of pre-theatre patrons, we had the chance to enjoy a leisurely drink in this older style hotel, which has a good outlook both to Strathtay and the hills behind the town. Interesting choice of bread rolls. Our starter was the seafood laksa, not entirely authentic because of the added cream, but... More

We stayed at the Knockendarroch and enjoyed our dinner at this quaint bed and breakfast. This restaurant is very close to the downtown area of Pitlochry.

The quality of food is of the highest standard, beautifully presented and prepared by a master chef. The pre-dinner drinks served in their elegant drawing-room adds a special touch to your enjoyment of what's to come. The excellent accommodation in the hotel bedrooms is also first class.

Dinner orders are taken in the charming and comfortable lounge, where your drinks and canapes are brought out to you. Then we moved into the dining room for 3 amazing courses. The food was fantastic, as were the staff, and very good value for staying in the hotel.

On our 45th wedding anniversary my wife and I dined for the first time in the restaurant at Knockendarroch. The building is beautiful - classic Scottish grand house set in lovely grounds up the hill from the centre of Pitlochry - and affords magnificent views across the riparian woodland along the River Tummel. From the first moment of our arrival... More

Grand setting for a lovely meal. Every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The Thai-inspired sea food appetizer was especially good. Good wine list with a selection of modestly priced wines was noteworthy. For after-dinner drinks, there is an extensive list of whisky by the glass! The dining room is tiny, so reservations are essential.
