Quite quiet, quite loud

It was a dark and dreary night, and my guest said to me, “Where shall we eat this evening?” On one of the quietest nights of the week, we chose one of the quietest restaurants in the town. Including us, there were three tables of two. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and it took us seconds... read more

This was really nice for a quick hot chocolate on Sunday morning, though I did find service was slow for how quiet they were. Also disappointed that they had a card payment limit of £15!

Dear Taran B, Thank you for posting a review for Victoria's and thank you for your lovely comments, that is greatly appreciated. Please accept our apologies for our service being slow on Sunday morning, this is completely unacceptable to us. Friendly restaurant with good varied menu. Fast service, delicious food for a good price. Nice atmosphere even as a lone diner.

Victorias is right on the main street in Pitlochry and is always very, very busy. As a result, it seems to be a quick turnover kind of place as opposed to somewhere you'd go for a relaxing meal. That's not a criticism, just an observation.... There is a small, outdoor seating area at the front and the flower baskets and... More

We called in for lunch last week whilst we were staying in Pitlochry. The home-made soup was to die for and the ambience was welcoming anf friendly.

Expensive meals for what was basically pub grub. The drinks were limited and extortionately priced. Would not recommend at all.

Dear margareth, We were very disappointed this morning to read your 2 star opinion of Victoria's. Our menu is accurately priced using only quality products - our ethos here is not based around price but on producing the best possible quality we can source at the fairest possible price. Our menu is displayed outside the restaurant and is large and... More

This restaurant is first class for home cooking food the home made steak and ale pie is tops and quantity well I managed it all the first time but had to avoid it a second time as it was just too much and I went for a smaller portion so that I could sample the sweet menu
