Good basic food at reasonable prices. Service was fine, and the range of food choices was OK. We ate in the early evening when there were few customers.

Great value for money. Varied menu with extra specials on the board and about a dozen wines to choose from. Intimate & cosy cottage/pub dining area and modern airy and spacious conservatory addition and comfortable protected external eating area. You choose the ambience and area you prefer. Family friendly and willing to put tables together for larger groups.

this his a charming and friendly restaurant the staff were welcoming and very helpful we were offered seats in the main part of the restaurant or the conservatory we were then shown to our seat and given the menu we had the fish and chips and the large mixed grill both were excellent value for money there was plenty of... We called in on way to Kingussie for lunch. The soup and sandwich were delicious. There were people sitting in the courtyard outside and it was all pleasant.

This a deceptive café, is it larger then you think and there is a spacious light conservatory. Staff are really friendly and efficient and there is a good choice of food. I opted for the American Breakfast one day (3 large pancakes, bacon and hot maple syrup), that is not something you see on many menus. We were so impressed... More

Been here before, an informal eating venue with relaxed atmosphere, can eat inside or out, fairly broad but standard menu, food was fine, no complaints but not the place for a romantic meal for 2.

Definitely do not recommend this place staff are unwelcoming and never smile. I got a pizza that was undercooked that I couldn't eat and when I mentioned it to the server all she said was an insincere 'sorry'. Didn't offer a replacement or to put in back in oven.. Nothing. I mentioned it again when paying full price for the... More

We enjoyed a late dinner here. Had a bit of a wait once we were at the table but the food was good. Their macaroni was delicious with a strong cheddar sauce. My husband ordered a strawberry milkshake - what he got was a small bottle of strawberry flavored milk - very disappointing and very expensive.

Busy with couples, families and groups at lunchtime but no delay in the service. Waiter was charming and friendly and all four of us had something different to eat with no complaints whatever, in fact my husband loves custard but didn't have room for a dessert. Nice décor and even an outside area. We liked it
