Excellent salmon!

I was hesitant to enter this little restaurant because I wanted atmosphere, but as we perused the outside menu, a couple came out, and I asked them how it was. They said it was great... So, we entered and were shown to a table in the conservatory in the back. I ordered the salmon (since I had... read more

Lovely wholesome food and friendly staff, just what was needed on a cold wet winters day in February .

This unassuming little cafe was our last night dinner stop on our visit. It has a nice easy going atmosphere with easy listening music (not too loud) allowing you to converse without shouting and yet not be overheard. The menu has a choice of good homemade style meals (such as mince n tatties, venison sausages and fish and chips) alongside... More

If you want good quality food and you are on a budget, then this is the place for you. Even if you can afford a lot more, I would still say go as it is by far, one of the best places to eat. Fabulous tasty food and great service form happy staff.

Visited for lunch break on visit to Pitlochry, had toasted sarnies with coffee / tea. Staff / srvice excellent, totally disagree with an earlier review about being unfriendly and unwelcoming

Will take your points about the service into consideration as we do try to employ friendly staff and if we fell short on this occasion the Manageress will revisit the standards we expect with those on duty. Our paninis are described on our menu as "Biba style- too much filling to squash!" which is why we do not flatten them.... More

This is a regular 'catch-up' place for me and my friends. Perfect for a coffee and a bit of cake, or pancakes...with hot fudge sauce! They're so good! :) Really good choice of cakes on display and various coffee syrups and herbal teas for something a bit different. There is a lovely conservatory at the back of the cafe, with... Visited 28th January 2016 10am. Excellent bacon roll and good coffees. Sadly the same could not be said about the staff. The male in particular who I assumed was the Manager showed no interest in us whatsoever. No welcome and no cheerio in fact absolutely nothing. He sat at the counter reading and more or less ignored the fact that... More

A disappointing experience. This cafe used to be quite nice but today I ordered the ham & tomato toastie. It arrived as promised with salad & crisps BUT the salad had no dressing, the crisps were slightly stale, the filling was meagre - just one thin slice of ham & a few pieces of pallid tomato. The bread was cheap... More

Hi thanks for your feedback regarding your visit. Our sandwiches and Toasties are served with a fresh salad garnish and potato crisps, needless to say these should not be stale as we use so many packs each day, so I will investigate why it was not so in this case. We don't put a dressing on our salad as we... More
