We ate here on two occasions and on both visits the food was exceptional. We had previously visited both 'The Kitchin' and 'The Witchery' (Edinburgh), and felt the food served here was equal, if not superior. This is a bold statement but one we feel is justified -compliments to the chef. - Quality ingredients sourced locally - Service was excellent,... More

Booked for Lunch but due to traffic we were slightly late. This was in no way a problem, lovely welcome to a beautiful restaurant. Lovely menu, something for everyone and the food itself was amazing. Will definitely be back!!

My husband booked us a night away as a surprise for my birthday. Warm welcome, beautiful place with intimate well appointed rooms. All rooms named after fishing flies, we stayed in East Haugh, four poster bed, open fire and jacuzzi bath!! The food was melt in the mouth, especially the slow braised lamb. All in all can't recommend highly enough... More

Hi we visited East Haugh for the first time for Mothers Day Lunch. What can I say it was excellent from the minute we arrived until we left. A warm welcome when we arrived, we had drinks by the fire before we ordered our lunch which was 4 courses for £19.95 amazing value. I ordered prawns with smoked salmon to... More

We stayed four nights B&B and I have already posted a review for the hotel in general. The food however does deserve special mention. We decided to eat in the restaurant the first evening. The venison haunch was excellent. We holiday each year on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula andsource venison in various forms fresh from the local estate. This was equally good.... More

Came here as we were staying down the road in a B&B, what a little gem of a restaurant. Staff were great; polite, friendly and attentive. The food was very good indeed, especially would recommend the steak. It is locally sourced and was cooked exactly the way I like it, so my compliments to the chef. Great little local restaurant... Stayed at the nearby Dalshian House B&B and in the afternoon decided to check out the East Haugh House Hotel. Had a drink in the cosy bar/bistro with coal fire and checked out the menu. Decided to book a table for that evening and we were not disappointed. Good quality food at a reasonable price.

My fiancé and visited the east haugh house restaurant on the Saturday night of valentines weekend and were disappointed by the whole experience. At first it seemed good and looked more relaxed than what we thought it would be,the rose petals on the table were nice for valentines weekend, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our seats and a... On arrival very welcoming, you could feel the relaxed ambience, At first our we thought there may have been damp in the room, but it was just some marks,on the wall, the building is actually hundreds of years old and in excellent confition. We were there for 2nights and coulnt find a moan or complaint about anything, you are asked... More

My husband and I went here on a cold, wet January evening because it was recommended on Trip Advisor and didn't regret our choice at all. We were greeted warmly by an excellent female maitre d' who was welcoming and chatty but not overbearing. We were the only couple in the restaurant (January mid-week Scotland!) but it was relaxing and... More
