We sat out on the patio of this gorgeous OLD hotel in the middle of town. The food and drink were scrumptious, and the view was perfect! People were courteous and delightful.

We stopped here for lunch on our first day in Scotland, and enjoyed the pub atmosphere and genuine food. The menu offers a nice variety of local dishes and pub favourites. The pies were delicious as was the stew-filled pudding (I forgot its name). It was rather busy and we were lucky to get a table.

My youngest son took me out for a meal for my birthday. We had a two course dinner, around 5.15pm. It was as well we were sharp, the inn got very busy and people were waiting for tables. The food is tasty and well cooked. The staff are friendly and efficient. A lovely place for an evening out.

Have recently frequented the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere so stopped off for food one Friday evening. 4 of us ate and had s great meal, menu had lots to choose from. Well priced and good service from the food and behind the bar. Will make this my regular food/drink location from now on.

Visited after going to Edradour Distillery. Brilliant choice of menu ranging from Angus burgers, caramelised onion and fries served with salad on a bread board. The Ploughmans lunch served with 2 cheeses, one of which was apple smoked. Again sliced fruit with salad and chutney. The large Yorkshire pudding was served in a small frying pan stuffed with wonderful meaty filling.... More

Popped in here for an evening meal. Lovely little village and very nice looking building. Food was ok but that was all. Plus point was the excellent beers brewed across the road.

Just the sort of pub you always wanted to stumble upon (and stumble out of). We ate in the bar rather than the hotel dining room and the food was delicious, plentiful and very good value. The on site brewery produces a great variety of ales suitable to most palettes. You may have to wait for a table to come... More

Had a seat outside in the sun. The food is always great and again it did not dissapoint. Service was also great. Will continue to go back.

The micro brewery next door brews four different ales, and we sampled them all over a few visits. All good beers. Four vegetarian options and a good range of non-Vegetarian options. Food well cooked and of sufficient size for us hungry hill-walkers. Decor in the pub a little dark and tired, but the pub is over 300 years old, so... More
