Description: Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top...
Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.

Once again we have had an outstanding meal at 63 Tay Street which left us talking about how amazing each course was all the way home! An uncomplicated choice of outstanding dishes created with wonderful local ingredients meant every mouthful really was an exceptional delight. In my experience this is the only restaurant in Perth where the food and service... More

My friends and I had a delightful evening. Super food especially the white onion risotto starter. The service was excellent without being overly intrusive just as we like it.

I used to live in Perth, so went to 63 Tay Street regularly, but moved away, so this visit was a nostalgia trip when I was in Perth for the weekend. The menu was very disappointing - both my wife and myself struggled to find anything to choose from the menu. They brought bread and butter to the table whish... More

This was the 3rd time we've tried the tasting menu at 63 Tay Street and we've never been disappointed. The quality of the food is always excellent and this meal was no exception. Each dish was put together with great care and attention to detail and with a lovely balance of flavours. The main course in particular was outstanding! The... More

Several visits with a variety of friends confirm our opinions of 63 Tay Street. Looking out over the street to the river, the restaurant is small, the decor a little too spartan for my taste although my wife loves it, furniture un-crowded, table settings immaculate, ambience quiet, comfortable and welcoming, the service faultless. The menu is fairly short but comprehensive,... More

I ate here with a colleague who was visiting from France. The food is tremendous and the wine selection impressed us both.

This was my third visit, but the first accompanied by my wife. Given that she is a pescatarian, allergic to mussels, and with a deep loathing of coriander, we had advised the restaurant accordingly when we booked. In the event, as previously when I had dined there, the meal was excellent. In particular, Chef had prepared a variation of his... More

Last night I visited the above restaurant in perth for a meal and a cooking demonstration which was expertly executed by chef Graham Pallister. The night started with water and drinks, followed by graham's Demonstration and a nice White Wine expertly chosen by Ralph. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the waiting staff were extremely efficient at their job;... More
