Description: Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.

Have been here before on a number of occasions and had a good experience of high end dining, even though I am vegetarian. Took my husband there for his birthday treat ;ast week, and he enjoyed the standard menu (scallops and steak). I told them I was vegetarian when booking and was provided with a small vegetarian dinner menu of... More

First time I had been here and it won't be the last. The food was quite different and absolutely delicious. While choice was fairly limited the standard of food and attention to detail was superb. The service was faultless and as both myself and another member of the party have dairy allergies alternative dishes and/or ingredients were provided . Staff... More

Went for dinner on the 10th January and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. From start to finish I have to say it wasn't just the food that ticked all the boxes, the service is certainly up to scratch. And such a good choice too on the menu. Certainly was a great evening

I have eaten here several times over the years, including through changes of ownership. It has always been of excellent quality: not just the food itself, but also the service. Lovely to have you on my doorstep!

Wow Every time we eat at 63 Tay Street is like a little treasure treat. We are vegetarians which makes dinning out a bit predictable but not if you go to 63 Tay Street. Superb, awesome, spellbinding food, a-m-a-z-i-n-gggggggg, what more can i say!!! 5 courses of tapas size portions, each with its own explosion of flavour and exquisitely cooked... More

Wow. Just.... wow. This truly is a fantastic restaurant, yes it's a little more expensive than most but I maintain that this has to be the best value restaurant in Perth - I'd pay a lot more for food of this quality. My fiancee and I visited 63 Tay Street on Saturday evening in early December. I'd booked a table... More

We had a fantastic meal at 63 Tay. I was particularly delighted with how well they responded to my vegan requirements - I notified them beforehand and they devised a menu specifically for me. It's so usual to get a choice, and unheard of to get a choice I found difficult to make! The food was stunning, some of the... More

A restaurant on the river promenade that offers a most courteous and warm welcome. Even the pre-theatre menu receives all the attention you would expect from a more leisurely meal, with a delicately flavoured amuse-bouche to start. Good wine by the glass, with much-better-than-average champagne at average price. Attractively presented flavourful courses throughout, with a good balance of quantity leaving... More

The service, ambience and quality of food was superb bearing in mind the large number of the group that had to be catered for. Food was also served in a very timely fashion. We were treated to gentle music by a live guitarist, who also makes a wonderful accompanyment to a quite, relaxed night for smaller groups and couples. I... More

We had an unexpected "Private Dinner" for 2 on a Saturday evening. Having learning from our experience in Glasgow the day before, finding a table, we booked a table in advance, given the good recommendations here. At 18:30 we arrived in time and were still alone in the restaurant. Some other tables were prepared, so we expected some more people... More
