Description: Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top...
Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.

Second time here. We both had the 5 course taster menu and the flight of wines (one with each of 4 courses). The food is excellent (quality, presentation, quantity)and the wines were super. There was plenty of food and we did not leave hungry; value for money, good service, cheery staff and a very good live accoustic guitar too! I... More

This is the perfect spot for a lovely lunch and a bottle of wine with the ladies ( or the guys for that matter!) I took my friend here recently and she really loved it - the food was delicious as always, service friendly and relaxed - thanks again Graham, Ralph and co.

Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced too. A lovely ambiance with discreet staff and service. A very relaxing lunch and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Lovely view over to the River Tay. Parking in the street outside the restaurant very useful.

the staff are very on the ball, efficient & chatty. The restaurant was full the night we were there so a good atmosphere with background hubbub. Not a massive menu but choice to suit all, portions a reasonable size & well priced. Good central location with some street parking right outside .

I have visited 63 Tay Street on a number of occasions now and never been disappointed. The food is always amazing and service second to none. Great attention to detail is shown in every course from the homemade bread and butter to the superb chocolates presented on the little slate dish at the end. Every course is mouthwatering and along... More

The menu is not extensive but there are choices to suit every taste and the taste is excellent. Food is exceptionally well prepared and presented and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely the best in the county and one of the best in the country.

We have visited 63 Tay Street on many occasions and it never fails to impress. The staff are very attentive without being intrusive and the food is simply the best. We had a steak lunch and every detail of our meal was delicious. The steaks themselves were cooked to perfection. Lots of nice little touches including melt in the mouth... More
