Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.

This was my third visit, but the first accompanied by my wife. Given that she is a pescatarian, allergic to mussels, and with a deep loathing of coriander, we had advised the restaurant accordingly when we booked. In the event, as previously when I had dined there, the meal was excellent. In particular, Chef had prepared a variation of his... More

Last night I visited the above restaurant in perth for a meal and a cooking demonstration which was expertly executed by chef Graham Pallister. The night started with water and drinks, followed by graham's Demonstration and a nice White Wine expertly chosen by Ralph. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the waiting staff were extremely efficient at their job;... More

My wife and I had lunch on 19th June. The food was excellent and the service first class. Definitely worth a visit when in Perth.

We seem to be becoming regulars here for Lunch and for good reason! Ralph and his Team really do offer a superb service and positively enhance the superlative dishes delivered by Graeme Pallister, the Chef/Proprietor. This Restaurant deserves all the praise that it receives.

Lunched here today with my husband. I had seen the restaurant on Trip Advisor and read the reviews and menus. We were welcomed and seated straight away and offered menus and water. The menus offered 3 choices for each course and all looked great. We were offered a lovely Amuse Bouche of smoked haddock tartare with I think it was... More

Went there on business with dad and fellow colleagues and we were given the set menu the food on the menu is stuff I've never been drawn to. However after looking at the other menus I really look forward to going back. The atmosphere was really relaxing and there was always plenty of room. The toilets even have little personal... More

A 5 course meal with portions gradually increasing in size, a tomato & strawberry gazpacho, rabbit and asparagus, scallop, mushroom and onion risotto, open chicken pie with haggis and veg, chocolate pudding and almond ice cream washed down with fine wine and coffee with salted caramel, strawberry pastel and mini Swiss roll. The wow factor certainly there and small portions... More

We dined here a couple of months ago and again recently. Just as lovely the second time. This is no budget restaurant but you get what you pay for. At £70 a head with wine, we found it good value for money. Each course was as delicious as the next. Beautifully presented and enough to satisfy as the flavours are... More

A family birthday brought us to 63 Tay Street. It's quite a small restaurant, but is well set out with lovely views over the river towards Kinnoull Hill. The service was attentive without being intrusive - just perfect. The menu isn't vast, but what we ordered was completely delicious, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Fine dining... More
