Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. Amazing food and service in Perth

I rarely visit Perth but if I do I must visit here. The menu is wonderful. A small number of outstandingly imaginative items on the menu. An excellent wine list. Service is perfect and the little extras are a bonue

Set Valentine's Day menu was well described on the restaurant website so we had an idea of what to expect - although the menu descriptions also left us unsure of what exactly each dish would be like. And we weren't disappointed! First class cuisine, surprise tastes and flavours and well looked after by the front of house team. Probably not... More

We booked for the tasting menu which is five courses (with selected wines if you wish - not compulsory). We have eaten here before but not this year. Found the food and service as good as ever. It was mid week and there was only another table in for dinner. Remember it is February. We checked and they were fully... More

Decided to try this restaurant through a non-seasonal meal deal. The steak and chips was delicious and we enjoyed our glass of prosecco so the food and drink was not in question but I felt the environment could be enhanced. The floor was well worn in places and it was very plain. To be fair the restaurant perhaps expresses an... More

I've eaten in 63 on many occasions. It's clear that Chef Pallister has a love of what he does. The sheer variety and invention of his creations, never ceases to amaze me. Not only that, but this fella can execute those dishes, to the highest fine dining standard. I've never asked him, but it must be difficult, if not frustrating,... More

We went along to,sample their Five course tasting menu. The restaurant is taking part in special off season meal deals and we enjoyed a superb meal at a very good price. Lovely surroundings with views over the River Tay. Staff attentive without being over bearing. An ideal choice for a special occasion.

Excellent meal, main courses cooked to perfection, mind you so was the rest! Guinea fowl was superb and the fillet steak just melted in the mouth. Rhubarb dessert was a big hit, and really We chant fault the place. The Armangnac was very smooth, and we had a couple of glasses is the Louis Roederer with the starter, prices are... More

Visited on Saturday evening with my Husband. It's a lovely intimate style of restaurant, with a relaxed ambience. Service was great, and the food was outstanding. Definitely heading towards michelin star standards. We can't wait to go back, and would have no hesitation in recommending if you like high end food.

Have been here before on a number of occasions and had a good experience of high end dining, even though I am vegetarian. Took my husband there for his birthday treat ;ast week, and he enjoyed the standard menu (scallops and steak). I told them I was vegetarian when booking and was provided with a small vegetarian dinner menu of... More

First time I had been here and it won't be the last. The food was quite different and absolutely delicious. While choice was fairly limited the standard of food and attention to detail was superb. The service was faultless and as both myself and another member of the party have dairy allergies alternative dishes and/or ingredients were provided . Staff... More
