Entering the "Small talk" in Perth is like entering another world. You are leaving the business of High Street and immediately welcomed by the soothing calm of the traditional tea room. The atmosphere is excellent and goes perfectly with the food and the interior. Staff is extremely nice (we were even accepted after hours) and welcoming. On top of this,... More

This is a little gem of a café, which we stumbled across by accident. There is a lovely, quaint and homely atmosphere about the place, and we were even served tea in a 150-year-old teapot. Food was great, as was the service.

First time to Perth, this small tea room caught our eye. We had immaculate service and I was happy that my jacket potatoe came in separate dishes so I could mix in the delicious Salmon. Owner insisted on Carrot cake and it didn't disappoint, truly best Carrot cake in Scotland :)

We were seated quickly despite the business of the tea rooms and our food came really quickly and was delicious. The tea comes in a big pot and the cup and saucer were bone china. The coffee was good also. The staff were efficient and very friendly. I would go there again.

Visiting the area for the first time, and looking for a venue for a light lunch we were drawn to Small Talk by the reviews. We were delighted therefore to discover that the reports were true. Very efficient and friendly staff team, with an excellent menu at fair prices. The visit added to the enjoyment of our day and we... More

While on shopping trip to Perth we visited here for lunch. Our young grandson who was with us had been before and enjoyed it, so we gave it a try. The surroundings are quaint, Victorian tearoom in style, well furnished without being twee. It isn't a large café, laid out lengthways with perhaps 40 to 50 covers. Cosy atmosphere. We... More

This is a lovely restaurant and tea room. We were greeted immediately at the door by a friendly gentleman who said there weren't any seats but we would be able to get one in a few minutes. We decided to wait as the place looked lovely. There were antique pieces of furniture and period décor all lending to the atmosphere... More

We visited this lovely, character filled tea room yesterday afternoon. The staff were very accomodating and freindly and the surroundings were beautiful and unique, especially for a town centre establishment. We chose to go there as we thought that it would be better than going to a 'run of the mill' coffee house and a bit cheaper. Indeed, the coffees... More
