I have visited this restaurant a few times whilst visiting Perth and enjoyed the food and friendliness of the staff. Yesterday I visited in the morning and from where I was sitting I I was able to see into the kitchen! I was most surprised to see the young man who was making the soup not wearing an apron! The... Had a nice lunch there very recently, where the food and drink is served in lovely settings! The staff are very attentive and the food is nice and fresh! However it is a little expensive, having said that you do get what you pay for!! Well Done!!

A beautiful restaurant to have lunch in. The quality and service is second to none. Best to book as they do get pretty busy.

This is truly delightful. Gorgeous soup accompanied with sandwich made with the loveliest of very fresh bread. Wide selection of fillings making it hard to choose. Cake 'goodie' is a must. Carrot cake is the best I have ever had in a tearoom. Coffee comes in a mug with the eclectic mix of china added to the overall charm. As... More

Absolutely charming tea room that does tea and scones and amazing home baked cakes but also full lunch and high tea meals as well. Excellent food and their lemon drizzle and Victoria sponge cakes are to die for! Lovely decor, all old fashioned China tea cups and silverware make for a lovely setting. Staff are so friendly and service is... More

We visited Small Talk on a rainy quiet Thursday in Perth. The cafe has a nice old Victorian tea room ambience with lots of local pictures etc. In fact the owner was very helpful with information about local buildings etc. and their history, even digging out a book for us to read more detail. There were a number of choices... More

My husband and I visited Small Talk on a visit to Perth. I thought it was beautiful quaint place with its Victorian style china and silver sugar bowls and tongs. Given the amount of chain coffee shops on Perth High Street I think it's well worth visiting this local place first ahead of the others. We only popped in for... More
