Lunch with friends

Superb choice of menu. Food was piping hot and beautifully presented. Every time I go to Perth I eat here as there is always a lovely variation of food and staff are so pleasant. Definitely recommend.

We popped in to Reid's on Saturday whilst on a short trip to Perthshire. Last time in Perth we walked past and thought it looked like it would be good. And it didn't disappoint!! My wife and I both had a large bowl of steaming home made soup which was delicious. We both also enjoyed some fresh baked scones which... More

Whilst visiting Perth we stopped for a coffee and cake in Reid's. Appearance-wise it looked good, well presented and busy. We ordered coffees and cakes. When they arrived we tucked in but half way through my scone I found a hair which had been baked into the scone. We reported this to staff who seemed like it wasn't a great... More

Impromptu lunch on Monday, driving from Inverness to Lincolnshire, quick wander round Perth centre, and Reid's looked the best, attractive frontage & menu board drew us in. Welcomed with great friendly service & outstanding food. Atmosphere was also brilliant. Highly recommended. As a couple for lunch we had goats cheese tart & Moroccan lamb. Both tasted amazing, portion sizes were... More

I have been in Reid's several times and never been disappointed. The most recent visit was for brunch, even before the lunch time rush the restaurant had a good feel to it. The service was very good, attentive but not pressured. Although we only had light meals the food we were served was excellent. We will definitely be back.

A busy restaurant serving a mixture of light meals and coffee; this could perhaps do with having fewer tables as it really does get rather crowded! That said, staff are friendly and efficient, and the level of cleanliness is commendable.

Visited Reid's twice over our three days in Perth and both times we were not disappointed. Good fresh food served well and reasonably priced. They were busy both times we were in which in itself is a recommendation.

We have been here several times for lunch and always enjoyed it but we felt rushed by staff swooping into clear plates so they could accommodate the queue, we won't be back for a while plenty of other places to try
