Great dinner

Friendly and welcoming. Great food. Great service What more is there to say? Had an excellent meal on Saturday evening. Well cooked , well presented and excellent service. Wish this restaurant was nearer our home as we only manage a visit here every few months.

Company of ten ate here and not one of us had a bad word to say about it. The food came hot to the table in large portions and very well coooked. My beef medallions melted in the mouth. Service was excellent and the night was great. Cant wait to go back. Only reason i gave this a four ranking... More

The food is excellent. The restraunt can be a little cramped when full. Also a little noisy. However the food forgives everything. Staff very friendly.

Often have a coffee here which is always very good. Decided to have lunch recently which was excellent. Beautifully freshly cooked trout with very good sauce and vegetables. Shared a cheese board to finish -very interesting selection of cheese. Will definitely return and recommend. Staff always attentive friendly and helpful.

We visited around 7.30pm on aSunday night and when we arrived there were a few other tables in. We ordered Chateaubriand and by the time the food arrived the other tables had left. We also got our bread at the same time as our meal. I honestly don't know how they did it but the steak tasted of nothing and... More

Ate here with the inlaws last saturday, 17jan, had the lunchtime menu. My father in law said it was the best food hed ever tasted. Im a veggie, and my starter and dessert were tremendous, lemon tart with raspberry foam. My main course of beatroot and goats cheese tart was good, but not on the same level as my other... More

I have eaten in Cafe Tabou on many occasions now and have had such unfailingly-good meals there that I thought it was about time that I record my satisfaction in a review. Usually it's just my wife and myself that go - they have a tasty pre-theatre menu at a reasonable price and the restaurant is always buzzing. On this... More
