This is our second trip to perth and I wrote before about this little gem, well it just keeps getting better. The place is buzzing but the staff always have time for a chat. The food is as good as ever fresh full of delicate flavour this chef knows how to use herbs and is not afraid of new ideas.... More

We had a lovely lunch at this very busy eatery in Perth. The tables were full & everyone seemed to be enjoying the food. We had 2 lovely starters (mussels and a salad) which were fresh and well presented. The restaurant specialises in sea food and my husband had a very good fish dish while I opted for a type... More

My wife and go there on a regular basis and are never dissapointed. Food is always very good and on occasion fantastic. Service is great and the atmosphere splendid, truly French in character. Go and you won"t be dissapointed. Only advice i would give is book table before you go .

We have eaten here a couple of times when in Perth and were looking forward to a really good lunch. Unfortunately, our lunch was not up to standard at all. The crab and asparagus salad sounded lovely, tasted ok, but looked like a road accident. My moules were hot and cold! Think chef had cooked them earlier and run them... More

My girlfriend and I came across this restaurant by accident recently and loved the feel of the place. It's tucked away in a quiet back street in Perth city centre next to a beautiful church. Has a very authentic French feel from the decor to the menu options. It was a lovely hot day when we were there and sat... More

Myself and several others came for dinner after a conference. Its a fantastic wee restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was fantastic and had a great selection of wine and beer. Felt it was great value for money, though not the cheapest establishment I've eaten in. Will definitely return on my next visit to Perth.

I Visited Cafe Tabou for a second time, on this occasion it was for my birthday. I could not fault the service or quality of food. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and never far away for a drinks order. I will return.

After some research decided to try this place due to the fantastic looking menu. We were not disappointed. It was a typically French menu on offer and well worth the visit, Carpaccio is a dish I have whenever I can and it was easily one of the best I have had. My mothers Brisket was tender and tasty, a big... More

We regularly have breakfast on a Saturday. There is a local and relaxed feeling to Tabou. We have also had lunch and dinner and every meal is always well presented, full of flavour and of local and in season produce. We ate here last night and had a lovely pre theatre dinner. The menu changes I think on a monthly... More
