We had arranged to meet a couple for lunch at Dobbies, but the car park was full to bursting, so we went to the Glover Arms instead and I am so pleased we did. Interesting menu, but we stuck with Sunday all day carvery and were none of us disappointed. Four juicy slices of roast beef and gravy arrived on... More

I hadn't been for ages and was looking forward to a night out with friends. Luckily we had booked as it was very busy but to wait around 40minutes for drinks is ridiculous! The food didn't all arrive together and when it did it was obvious that some had been kept under the heat lamp, salad leaves wilted so it... More

I can't speak more fondly about the Glover Arms! My husband and I decided to have a "Pre-wedding" dinner with all of our friends and family, some of whom had travelled all the way from America. From the moment the planning began, Caroline from the Glover Arms was extremely accommodating, warm and wonderful. She saw our vision, communicated with us... More

Been here loads of times and alway love it but we were left disappointed this time. After we had sat at our table for 5 minutes I went and helped myself to a menu from another table as we hadn't been given any. then after a few more minutes I went to the bar to order drinks and remind them... I passed to Perth heading to Inverness from Edinburgh, I popped in by chance and I have not been disappointed. The place is massive, and very comfortable, the staff kind and helpful, the food was alright but the desserts delicious. A great quality-price rapport

Really like the traditional atmosphere here. Nice warm cosy feeling when you walk in. We were all seated quickly and drinks followed swiftly. We all chose the Steak and Ale pies which were quite a size and really tasty. My only criticism would be that when the three plates arrived, two of the three looked really appetising with nicely coloured... More

Over the Easter weekend, my sister, my parents and I stayed in the Travelodge next door, therefore we spent the entire weekend popping in and out of the glovers arms. We had a few drinks in the sunshine, dinner one night, lunch the next day and a few bits and bobs in between. The food was lovely, the surrounds were... More

I have visited the Glove Arms twice in the last two weeks and the service is really good. The staff are very welcoming and the food is really good. The second time we went it was really busy but the service was still good.
