A very welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff

I live in the Perthshire area and often pop in here for a family meal or to meet friends. The food is good, well presented and reasonably priced. The menu is quite extensive and I'd recommend the Merlot Steak pie and a personal favourite, haddock and chips. I always find the waiting staff friendly... read more

Had a lovely meal from the set menu here. Food was really good and service was very courteous, but still friendly and personal. Great food at great value. Thank you, will be back at our next visit.

Visited for dinner with family and friends. From the outside seems an unprepossessing modern building at the edge of a retail development but a warm welcome and great ambience in the old fashioned looking decorated dining room certainly made up for the bland exterior.. Good food, friendly welcoming service from undoubtedly busy staff on a Saturday night made the experience... More

On my way home from a weekend in Glasgow, decided to go The Glover Arms for a Sunday roast, Firstly when getting seated asked for a window seat which there was one available, but there would not give it to us because it was set for four and there was only two of us, so they placed us on a... More

This is a really good place to visit and overdue a review from us. The staff are always welcoming and the food is consistently good - the Sunday roasts in particular are fab and great value. We had our works Christmas meal there too in December and it was first class.

We go here quite often for dinner and have never been disappointed. The food is good and service with a smile. The decor is lovely and cosy in the winter with the fire on.

Stayed at a local hotel and popped in for lunch. Really nice feel about the place which reminded us of country pubs in the lakes. The food was lovely, and my only criticism was that the service was a little slow. But, nice atmosphere in the bar which encouraged us to stay for another pint of real ale.

Pros: No waiting around, but it is very popular so book in advance if you can. Good seating area if you want to stop for a beer or 3. Cons: None

Arrived here at 2pm and promptly given a table. Crayons and colouring in for kid always a good sign of a family friendly place. As a starter I ordered the beef hash which was fairly bland affair and quite greasy with a pool of oil on bottom of the dish. The wife had the baked brie and enjoyed it. For... More
