Sunday lunch

Arrived here at 2pm and promptly given a table. Crayons and colouring in for kid always a good sign of a family friendly place. As a starter I ordered the beef hash which was fairly bland affair and quite greasy with a pool of oil on bottom of the dish. The wife had the baked brie and enjoyed it... read more

Myself and my family of 5 had lunch and it was busy when we arrived. Cannot say a bad thing at all!! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was hot and amazing. We all enjoyed it our food and everyone chosen differently. The place is so clean and tidy. We will most certainly be going back after a... More

Always love the Glovers Arms! Tasty food, well priced, wonderful staff! The light bites menu is really good, and cheap is you are dining before 5pm.

To begin with the tables were dirty and the waitress flicked a table opposite us full of crumbs onto the seats and floor in full view of everyone before quickly wiping a dirty cloth over the table and hurriedly putting cutlery on the table. One of our drinks was served in a glass with smears of pink lipstick on it.... More

unsure of somewhere nice to go for lunch, we found this place by accident just of the A9 - and glad we did. We all ate from the lunch menu and then the kids shared a large pudding between them (as recommended by Stewart) and glad he did, thank you. I'd forgotten how good 'Vintage Inns' are and will make... Had lunch with a large group of friends, having pre-ordered the meal, and was pleasantly surprised to find how well organised it was, with little waiting and courteous and friendly service. The food was very tasty and not too expensive.

Food is average pub type grub but what makes the place is the staff and the decor. The staff are very welcoming and warm and will do their level best to attend to you. A special thanks to our server Nicola !

.... was the best place to be when the temperature was several degrees below zero outside. My partner and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch with my son and she suggested here. Good choice of food on the menu - I had the speciality sausages with mash and would certainly go back for more. Prompt, friendly service ..... More

A quick lunch for three on a sunny February day. From arrival to when we left we were made to feel most welcome and both bar and waiting staff were most attentive and informative. Next to no waiting time despite restaurant being very busy. Food was very good, piping hot and arrived with no fuss. Portions are very filling and... More
